“restful”
Reviewed February 2, 2014

This hotel is very conveniently located. Walking distance from the river, and close to major attractions. It is very restful and relaxing after visiting some of the more traumatic sights of Phnom Penh. Unfortunately there was some minor renovations going on when we were there. The rooftop bar was very pleasant and prices reasonable. Room was large but bathroom looked unfinished

Room Tip: Some rooms look onto a wall. Ask if you could have a view

The hotel is centrally located next to the royal palace and about 100 mtrs from the riverside were there are many bars and restaurants to enjoy. The service levels from the efficient staff was excellent and the whole place has a bright modern decor plus a pool and bar on the rooftop, sadly the bar was very expensive by Phnom Penh standards.
We organised a one day tour via the hotel and the young lady guide was delightful and made us laugh while being very informative. We had a room at the rear of the hotel which was very quiet at night. The complimentary breakfast choice was very good by far east standards.Phnom Penh was a nice surprise as we had not known what to expect.

Room Tip: Rear rooms are very quiet

We stayed here for one night passing through Phnom Penh, and had previously stayed for a few nights at The Pavillion, which was a much nicer hotel.

Positives
- Great location right near the Royal Palace and riverfront restaurant area
- Very nice rooftop pool and bar area
- Staff were helpful and friendly

Negatives
- Room (and the hotel in general) was relatively nice, but were looking a bit rough around the edges in some places
- Breakfast was average - typical buffet but not great

Be VERY careful if thus chain Booked on line, prepaid and had my reservation confirmed When we arrived were told we were being upgraded to a sister hotel That was a bit if a pain but OK But room on a very noisy street There was a rock concert over the road that lasted till very late at night Had a couple if drinks from the mini bar and when checking out gave my credit card to pay for these. Noticed they were trying to charge me fir the room again and I tried to explain that we had already paid Went online to verify this and noticed they had already debuted my bank account a further $80 without my approval Talked to the manager and requested this be credited back immediately He told us thus was not possible But it would happen sometime in the next month Well it hasn't happened yet Reading the reviews it seems this sort of thing happens on a fairly regular basis Beware

One of the best things about this hotel is its location. The bars and restaurants are all along the way. You can literally walk to the Royal Palace and Mekong River. The double room is also chic and modern. The breakfast is abundant. Overall, great value!

Booked for 5 nights and enjoyed it so much we added another night. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Skybar is a lovely place to rest before heading out to dinner. Lots of dining and bar options one block away at the thriving river district

We had to move to a twin room for the extra night, and found both the double and the twin rooms were large and quiet. Both were on the river side of the building on different floors

Will definitely be back

My daughter & I stayed here for 1 night in a twin room. The room was smallish & had no windows BUT the shower was the best we had in our 3 week stay in Cambodia! The buffet breakfast (included in room rate) was delicious with lots of fresh choices on offer. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We had a small issue with payment through booking.com & the manger made sure we were happy & even rang our bank in Australia. Impressive indeed. They have a great roof top bar with Happy hour ( 1/2 price drinks) every night. Would love to stay here again but would maybe choose a different room style.
