“Vendors”

Pros: architecture, collection.
Cons: people touching in the sculptures, tons of vendors.
The museum is beautiful. Gorgeous architecture and gardens. The collection is also very interesting. You can learn a lot about khmer art.
The annoying thing is that you have to pay to take pics. And there are TONS of vendors and people touching in the sculptures. It's why I'm giving only 3 stars.

“Excellent well presented”

Worth the trip. Well set out. Amazing exhibits. The court yard and building is beautiful. You can make an offering if you want as well. Also a palm reader for those who would like a dabble. This man was found in one of the many rooms housing exhibits.

“Garden like and calm inside National Museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 4, 2013

Don't miss this museum if you are visiting Angkor What. They have a large collections of statues and such from the Angkor What complex . They give you a better picture of the site that you will be visiting. (AND for fans of Lara Croft, that is where you see the statues from the movie) they are not at the site. It is a short walk from the Palace so don't miss it. Combine the 2 together.
