We spent a couple of hours here in January.
It is quite a large site so give youself time to wander around it all.
The Silver Pagoda is here and several other Pagodas should buddhas and scrolls and other religious items.
The royal palace section was closed during our visit due to the recent death of the king but I am sure it is just as impressive as the area we saw.
Don't forget to look at the pavillions to the right of the entrance lots of items on display

The Royal Palace was nice, although we weren't allowed in because they were preparing for a funeral. It was still pretty to walk around. There is a strict dress code and shoulders and knees have to be covered. There are clothes to rent at the entrance if you aren't dressed properly

We were there during the time when the King Father's funeral ceremonies were being held and everything was at its best.

Very interesting tour. The king has passed away so some of the areas were not on display. He is being cremated on fourth February so everything will go back to normal. Certain areas cannot take photos and females have to be suitably dressed. No revealing clothes. Knees covered and tops with sleeves out of respect for the king. This is a good tour and definitely worth seeing.
