Nightmares.. horrible things happened to poor people. I would rather stick to google search than visiting that place.

This is an experience I will never forget. I do not recommend this for children. At first, I opted to walk around without the audio, but its necessary to get the audio in order to fully understand where you are and what you're seeing. Take some time out of your trip to go here and learn about this horrific event that took place right on the grounds you walk on. I appreciated the brutal honesty of the recounting of what happened but also the gentle speaker reminding you throughout the tour to take breaks and step outside if you can't handle being in the rooms. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting cambodia, even if just for a few days.

Don’t go to Phnom Penh without visiting this historic place. Take a tuk tuk tour and allow about 1.5 hours to 2 hours to see the whole place. Head sets and refreshments available.
Don’t rush it and take in the history, leave time to sit and reflect as you will need it.

Went to visit the prison as part of a tour including the Killing Fields. We "hired" a guide from the prison, & he wS excellent. He really brought the life of the inmates/victims there to life, illustrating the horrendous things which went on there brilliantly. A really upsetting couple of hours, but this is a time in history which needs to be remembered so it doesn't happen again. Be careful if easily upset.
