After staying many times in Phnom Penh using international style hotels, I was looking forward to a boutique style this time around and this one did not disappoint. The hotel (as with most boutique ones) has limited room capacity, but that does not mean the services and amenities are. They have most things that the international chains have, just a little smaller or less;
They have a pool, a bar, a restaurant, a massage/spa centre, a business centre, elevators, room service, porter service, transport services etc. along with various styles of rooms and bedding configurations.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff and assisted with our luggage without any wait. The front entrance although small is well decorated with a garden and a pond which you cross an ornamental bridge to access the lobby. Check in was at an average speed, but this is mainly due to passport copying and verification of reservation documents (bear in mind the possible language barriers) but all done without any faults. All done with a complimentary on arrival drink. The lobby is an adequate size for the hotel which leads to the bar / restaurant area and another exit to the pool area. There is also a small sitting area and a free connected computer, with a business centre located behind reception near the small elevator.

Our room was a deluxe with balcony located on the third floor overlooking the street. It contained a queen and a single bed - both very comfy, with a private ensuite and both very spacious, clean and neatly presented (even towel statues on each bed), and a sitting area with two chairs and a coffee table. Although it overlooked the street, we found the glazing for the balcony and that the road was not terribly busy, caused no noise disturbances throughout the entire stay. The room's amenities were quite modern, all in working order and very adequate (TV, mini-bar, desk / chair area, air-cond, luggage / wardrobe, safe etc.) with ensuite having a separate, large bath and large walk in shower cubicle. Overall we were all quite impressed with the size and quality of the room and it was more than adequate for what we needed - out everyday from early morning to evening doing things.

The pool area is small, but adequate and well maintained for the hotel's size with several sun beds and tables and complimentary pool towels, and although the road is just on the other side of the fenced/partitioned area you would hardly notice (no comment during the day as we were out). There is a shower/toilet cubicle and even a small bar area, but it didn't look like it was used...maybe during the day or on special occasions?? We swam in the late evening, and still managed to attract the attention of staff within the lobby who quite happily got us drinks from the bar - we didn't even have to get out of the pool. Fantastic service!

Breakfast was included with the room, and was located in the small dining/restaurant area (opposite the bar and adjacent to the massage/spa etc centre). There were several western choices as well as Khmer / Asian choices - enough to cater for most tastes. I'm not a big one for breakfasts first thing in the morning, so I don't eat a large variety, but within our group of three we were all happy with the size and quality along with the choices on offer. The service was fast and friendly and the seating was comfortable and enough for the hotel's size. We didn't use the restaurant for dinner, opting to use Bopha (on the quay) and Khmer Surin - opposite corner to the hotel.

The only negative was the laundry. We sent out a batch of dirty laundry and although it appeared cleaned my 3 x pairs of sockets still stank which affected the entire washing. Maybe they didn't wash these properly or dry them properly, though they looked cleaned they were fairly smelly. Needless to say the entire load had to be re-washed in Siem Reap as we didn't have time left.

Overall this hotel was a very welcome change to what I usually use when in Phnom Penh, and offered secure and comfortable accommodations. The staff were very helpful, friendly and polite with a good level of English. They assisted in organizing a private car with driver for a transfer to Siem Reap at the last moment - albeit the driver was not very good.

Highly recommended, if you're seeking a wonderful boutique hotel with warm and friendly staff in a quiet location.

A nice hotel but when you look closely its a little tired. My room had a small balconey on the 3rd floor and my friend had the room below which had a slightly larger one. Both faced the side street and were surprisingly quiet. There seems to be a few repairs done within the room and if it had been done by my tradesman I would drag him back to do them again. My room smelt dank (sewage type smell) which was really unpleasant to sleep in the first night, I tried without the air cond and that was worse. Seemed to improve as nights went on - I believe it came from the air cond which gave me more worry. The cleaner also didn't clean my room all that well. The spa bath was amazing but unfortunatley neither my friend or I could use them as the water never became hot enough. Same from the basin (in two different rooms - a coincidence?). Shower was great and hot! not sure whats going on here? Nice breakfast and staff very friend/y and helpful.

From the minute the taxi stopped at the hotel door it was obvious how caring, friendlyi, & efficient the staff were. A genuinely affable welcome, followed by a complementary drink set the scene for our 3-night first visit to Phnom Penh.
The room was absolutely 1st Class (in our case with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool), quite large, well furnished, & with a walk-in shower.
The breakfast menu was quite extensive, nicely cooked, & not too long to wait!
The attitude of the staff was the icing on the cake, so friendly & eager to please! From arranging the taxis to our resort Sihanoukville, to serving us with drinks at the drop if a hat!
To summarise I can state that when visiting this city again then this hotel will definitely be our choice! Absolutely!

The hotel itself is fine, nothing special at all. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The wifi is terrible but works well in the lobby. The rooftop is ok. The pool is small and cold. The views are nice. The breakfast is small but fine. The staff, though, are really really kind. Very helpful and very sweet. For that alone, I would return. I think it's a little pricey for the rooms, however.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and we were given a warm welcome. The room was excellent and well furnished. The hotel is well located being near Independent Monument and a Tuk Tuk ride away fro the Royal Palace, river front and Central Market. Breakfast is from a set menu rather than a buffet style but the choices are good and varied. There are many restaurants nearby for evening meals. When booking the room the manager was extremely helpful and replied promptly to emails.

Had a great stay here, location is perfect for exploring the city. Rooms are nice and big and were spotless. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Although the pool was on the small side I would definitely stay here again.

The staff are knowledgeable and very helpful and that made a big difference. They arranged a good tuk tuk driver to show us the main sights. The hotel is a good size if you want to avoid the larger establishments (where you are mostly just a room number. The pool is a big plus and the location is well placed for restaurants and bars. Our room had been refreshed but a downside was that the workmanship was poor. If that was improved then this would easily get a rating of very good from me.
