We had a beautiful time drinking cocktails and eating tapas. I tried the Phnom Penh sling which was delicious and for tapas we tried the fried cricket which was interesting.
The building has incredible historical value and is just near the American Embassy. Jacky Kennedy stayed in the hotel and drank at the bar.
I recommend going during happy hour where certain drinks are 50% off and get a little dressed up to make it special.

Dear josephinejurak,

Thank you for taking the time to join us. I am pleased to hear that you had a wonderful experience at our iconic and historical Elephant Bar, where the iconic Femme Fatale was specially crafted for Jacqueline Kennedy in the late 60's. Like yourself, many of our guests deem it a 'must-do' and make it a point to visit us whenever they are in Cambodia. It is great to hear that you enjoyed the history, charm and atmosphere of the Elephant Bar and that you found it to be extravagant.

We look forward to welcoming you back soonest for another Iconic and seamless Elephant Bar experience the same Raffles’ charming ambiance and legendary service every time.

Forever Yours. Raffles.

I stayed here for 3 nights with my wife in a room over looking the pool. The holiday was to celebrate our anniversary. We could not have chosen a better hotel for our stay in Phnom Penh. From front of house to the waiters in the restaurants and the pool attendants the service was exceptional. We asked one of the managers about a local game and were we could buy a special shuttle cock, as it was raining he asked a Tuk Tuk driver to purchase this in central market for us, “above and beyond.” Many thanks to all in the hotel for making our stay special.

Visited as part of a tour group for Afternoon Tea. We firstly had a tour of the Hotel, lovely building with an air of elegance......loved the Elephant Bar.

Afternoon Tea was very good, with a great choice of both Asian & Western nibbles. This was more like a selection of canapes than a full high tea though. The location was beautiful with decorated tables, flowers and a gift of candles for each of our group.

Would love to do this visit again as a couple …..we could have taken more time and had a few more drinks in The Elephant Bar.
Tried the famed Femme Fatale Cocktail that was made for Jackie Kennedy.....

A beautiful hotel for your visit to Phnom Pehn, full of history and heritage.

We enjoyed our stay here very much and in particular some of the highlights included:
- the staff are really exceptional overall and the service is certainly the standout feature of this holiday. The hotel is very luck to have such committed and kind staff. We had 1-2 small issues during our stay which Chem sorted out for us in a truly effective and proactive way and this really turned around the experience for us. Staff like Chem are rare in many hotels and make such a difference to customers.
- the hotel decor is lovely, very classy and relaxing. We really liked the lobby area, the pool area and also the elephant bar.
- breakfast had a good selection and was very enjoyable
- I had a good spa treatment and the sauna and jacuzzi there are nice also.
- we also liked browsing around the general boutiques of the hotel etc

The reasons we did not give this a 5 are mainly because we felt the renovations of the hotel currently do impact staff for example when we sat out at the pool for an hour there was a lot of noise from the construction and it was not the relaxing time we had hoped for. Also we had two mix ups with our food which were resolved but still maybe staff could make few things a little clearer for guests. The rooms facing the street are very noisy also so best not to have one of these.

Overall a lovely hotel and we would certainly recommend to anyone visiting this city. Well worth a visit and you will be well looked after!
