"It's a holiday weekend, so many restaurants are closed, but Sher-E-Punjab 2 is open." The small restaurant was very busy, but we found a table near the back. Despite the many customers, the staff were very prompt to take our drink order while we decided how many of the many dishes to order. Naturally, our papad arrived first, accompanied with free fried dough. These were followed by the succulent tandoori chicken. Then the main course of mutton Madrah, veg kofta, jeera rice, butter naan and some chapattis. It was all delicious, and we tried but couldn't quite manage to finish everything off. Even so, with about 9 beers between us, the bill was less than $35, which I consider extremely good value.
Usually, my wife and I order delivery from this place, and usually don't manage to finish a chicken thali between us.
