“The whole place seemed neglected and tired”
Reviewed January 29, 2014

I can only guess that this place is under new ownership because when we went there was no sign of any art and the plants, like the whole place, seemed neglected and tired. The rear courtyard is a quiet shady retreat from the noise and heat of Phnom Penh. The staff were friendly, as everywhere in Cambodia and the food quality was good. It just wasn't the place we thought we were going to be visiting from the trip advisor reviews.

“Awesome”
Reviewed January 22, 2014

Great place in busy Phnomh Penh. They have a small, cute backyard garden to relax in, away from the bustle. The wifi reaches out there, which is ideal. Their Breakfast Set is a very good deal: we got a plate of eggs with ham, bacon and toast, plus a dessert plate (we picked Crepes with Vanilla Ice Cream) plus a Coffee / Tea (we had Lattes) for $4 / breakfast set. A really good deal, especially in this central area. The rest of the menu is slightly pricier. The service is excellent, very nice and caring staff. Definitely a sweet find! Highly recommended.

“A bit tired”
Reviewed December 11, 2013

Actually, I do not have any reproaches to write about the food. There is a huge selection. It is fresh and tasty.
I had the fried chicken and mango with cashew nuts and my husband the fishcakes. Yummy!
Not big portions but that is all we needed for lunch.
The service is very friendly.
But my disappointment came from the surrounding. According to the pictures and reviews, this should be a lush quite oasis with a hint of art. Well... Botanic, ok. But certainly not art gallery. The walls are bare. And the only exhibition was a few kramas and other souvenirs to buy...
The furnitures were tired and I would not like to relax on the hammock/cushion in the courtyard. More than worn!
December is normally peek season and we were the only guests at lunch time. Weird...

“Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and very good value for money!”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

We accidentally passed the restaurant three days ago and were convinced by the menu and the cute garden. The food tasted really good and we were very satisfied! We only realised that there was a garden in the back as well so that the traffic was quite loud - when sitting in the backyard, it might be even nicer.

“Highly recommend this little place”
Reviewed April 4, 2013

The food and service were great. I almost gave it 5 stars for that, but it's a bit shabby inside (adding to its charm). We only ate from the Asian menu and had spicy fruit salad (without the shrimp), pork spring rolls and the satay. The satay and the salad are a must-- so delicious. We also had fruit smoothies, which were great. We ate there for lunch.

The garden is cute but shabby.
