This is a good budget hotel. I booked online and everything went smoothly. Room was clean and the AC and hot water work excellently. Free breakfast was average but for $20/night you can't really go wrong. I've paid more for other places that didn't compare so it was a nice surprise.

We stayed for two nights at this hotel directly across from the Royal Palace. The location was awesome within walking distance to the riverfront shops and restaurants, and to the Night Market. The hotel recommended a great tuk tuk driver to take us to the Killing Fields and S-21 Museum for $20...be ready for a bumpy ride! It was an awesome day though. Phnom Penh was a delightful surprise.

The hotel had to move us after the first night because of some booking and our second room was noisier and the bed and pillows were terribly uncomfortable. The room was very basic and clean. No unwanted creatures or filth. The breakfast was small, limited, made to order and not great. Other food was overpriced.

However, the staff was so helpful and kind. Cambodian people are very warm and welcoming. We would consider staying here again, especially the area...but would look elsewhere too.

FYI...they booked us a private car to Siem Reap, which was helpful. However, the journey is never as short as they tell you. We were told 4-4.5 hours and it took 6 hours, with our driver uncomfortably speeding most of the way.

You pay for you get. It's in a fantastic location, next to the royal palace and museum. It's not the best hotel but it's not terrible either. Rooms were clean, bathroom was a little strange. Can't complain for $25 a night. I would stay here again.

Stayed one night here, the room was fine for its price, but there were no windows. Walking distance to The Royal Palace, the National Museum and the river front. I would stay here again when I come back to Phnom Penh in April.

Good location and clean rooms we stayed in room 101 for 1 night alot of noise from reception as like everywhere in this area noise travels no fault of the staff just the layout. We had a problem with the booking as we should have been in diamond palace 1 but they only had 1 of our rooms they mentioned booking.com but we feel as we checked in late they had let the room but it was sorted no problem. Clean hotel good base to sightsee no major problems or plus points

Stayed for one night, cannot fault this place. Great value for money and friendly staff. We stayed on the top floor so lots of stairs and quite narrow staircases, but not a problem for us. Would stay again - oh, and the little place a couple of doors down does really cheap beer!!!

First time to Phnom Penh and glad we close this hotel, rooms are clean and well equipped, hot shower, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, minibar, hair dryer, safe, TV with English channels. Great value for money, don't expect to much and you won't be disappointed! Breakfast was a bit below average but not a major issue. Very close to riverfront and never far away from a good restaurant. Try friends tapas bar just round the corner, great food and goes towards a good cause.

Room Tip: Go for superior rooms as higher up in building and have good view.
