Most book don't bother to even mention the monument (nor the park in which it is located) and we had no idea what it was when we saw it.
Still, it made a lovely photo at dusk, with hundreds of Cambodians playing succer near it, dancing folk dances etc. .

Just near my guesthouse, it's a kind of a propaganda monument to persuade khmers that the Vietnamese invaders are nice liberators, except they kinda never wanted to leave ...

To Khmer people this is actually an important and dear to heart monument. It looks nice and it's in great shape. It was worth of my time. I am rather happy to sea a monument to friendship between nations, something so uncommon in the time we are living.

Wlaked to this monument from riverside. Been here 10 days now and it was easy to find for me.

It's in the middle of a central walkway, within easy walking distance from the Kings Palace etc.

Nice and clean, well kept. Places to sit and chill for a while. Loads of local places to eat as well as re-hydrate.

No cost to see this monument as it's within an very public area.

Ticked it off from my list of to do things... loads of info can be got from local tourist leaflets and travel guidebooks if you want to know more about the monument.
