There is nothing exciting about the night market of Phnom Penh.....it is far off the standard set by Thailand. The things sold here are pretty normal and slightly overpriced. Avoid going there during rainy season as you will get drench there and then. Just drop by for a feel what Phnom Penh Night Market is all about.

Not as good as Thailand's night markets but worth a look
Watch out for the low strung tent ropes of you are tall

We arrived at about 8.30pm when it was raining. Most of the stalls were closing. Some had canopies over but these are very low.

The market is small and not very exciting. We came from Thailand where we loved the night market. We also liked the one is Siem Reap better - so if you are doing both cities, you can skip the Phnom Penh one!

Not many night markets in PP, this is probably the biggest and best situated right there on Sisowath quay. More of a tourist attraction than a functional market such as Central/Russian/Orussey markets...
Mainly T-shirts and collectibles... Very busy more due to its location than quality products, there are Kampot pepper and Cambodian coffee stalls etc of course, but even they don’t compete with most supermarkets price wise....it is what it is and if your already on the riverside, definitely worth a look...Don’t expect too much and you won’t be disappointed....

As night markets go, it's ok. We went to find a bite to eat. Lots of clothing stalls, watches by the wristful and bags galore.

Been to many night markets and this one was disappointing. Lots of fake watches, narrow walkways and nothing of much interest. Don’t go out of your way to visit

Well, Its nice to pass by and see what this market has but I found it a bit expensive than other local markets "its more touristic" however you may still find there some unique things that hard to find in other places such as the Cambodia flag patch which I couldn't even find in the Russian market.

The night market was a disappointment as almost all the stalls sold clothes with little variety between them. It’s okay for a wander around if you have some spare time and it’s not out of your way but go to either of the other 2 (Russian or central). My preference would be the Russian market as it had more character.
