If you are visiting the Royal palace you will see the Supreme Court Building...it's nice to take a photo and then move along...

Well, at first we thought it was just another ordinary (yet beautiful) Khmer temple, just next to the Royal Palace, and nobody on the street could explain what this building was, so we really assumed it was a temple.
Having come back to the hotel and looking it up with Google maps, we realized it's the supreme court.
While the building IS beautiful (especially ad dusk!), I don't think tourists are allowed in.
Still, another nice building in Phnom Penh. Take a look after a visit to the palace.

I first mistook the Supreme Court building for another temple – it has a huge complex with an intricately decorated rooftop, resplendent with gold that catches the afternoon sun. The view from Wat Botum Park (Wat Bottom on Google Maps) was amazing. It is a very impressive building and a nice piece of architecture to admire; very close to the Royal Palace and several monuments in the area. Well worth a look.
