Great meditation session with the locals in a beautiful temple. I went on a Saturday from 6pm - 7pm, I believe they also offer sessions on Monday and Thursday. Great for first timers as they provide you with a leaflet on vipassana and you can ask questions at the end.

Situated near the Independence Monument. Beautiful structure and a lovely gold Buddha inside. Go see it as it is just a couple of minutes walk from the roundabout.

Wat Langka was established as a sanctuary for the Holy Writings and a meeting place for Cambodian and Sri Lankan monks. According to my tuk-tuk driver, this wat now used by local as ceremony/festival purposed.

What sets this temple apart from others in the city is its open meditation sessions. It's pretty cool to be ushered into a meditation hall by a monk and join in a meditation practice with locals and expats in a 15th century temple.
