We stayed in one of the $10 twin rooms with a fan. The room was very basic, but it was clean and the fan worked fine, so nothing to complain about. There are share bathrooms, but they are seriously some of the cleanest I've been during my trip through SEasia. Staff are wonderful! So friendly and they give you so much good advice, just ask! The downstairs bar is always a good time in the evenings and during the day it's a nice place to chill and take a nap. The location is prime as well. So close to the riverfront, night market, royal palace... Definitely would recommend! My friend and I had so much fun we extended our stay here.

Room Tip: There aren't windows in many of the private rooms, but we didn't have a problem with that. T...

Spent 3 nights here while in Phnom Penh, thanks to a recommendation from someone I met on the bus. At $4.5 it is the cheapest hostel I've ever stayed in. But don't worry, its not cheap an cheerful. The rooms are clean, and the room I stayed in had lockers and 2 onsite bathrooms. There is a bar downstairs, and they have very cheap meals. It's also located in one the most diverse areas of the city, and is close to all the basic amenities. My last SE Asian hostel was definitely one of the best.

Room Tip: Go for the 10 bed doors. Comfortable, secure and well-equipped.

Cleanliness is definitely an issue. The bed sheet has suspicious marks. We booked the air con room, but it was stinky. The staff said it was because they had not fixed the toilet??? We had to change to this tiny fan room with a bunker bed, no windows, with the shared bathroom next door. The room is extremely steamy humid. I was very disappointed. Not sure about the dorm, but do not recommend the rooms downstairs.

I really enjoyed my stay in this hostel. I thought the staff was very friendly and helpful (and fun when they work the bar at night). The bar and chillout area is good for meeting other travelers. The location is prime -- right by the river near a lot of restaurants, bars, and attractions. The rooms are fairly basic, but its cleanliness makes up for lack of style.

I stayed here for 2 nights in a 12 bed dorm room. There was no aircon in the dorm but there is in all other rooms. Theres a heap of fans though so it was cool enough. The bathrooms were nice and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Best of all it was only $4.5USD a night. There is a great bar down in the lobby with $1 beer. Decent wifi coverage, however there was no coverage in the dorm room which is on the top floor. Lots of room to chill out in the lobby. I would stay here again.

Set within a bar thie hostel side lacks cleanliness, the rooms are spacious enough but overall cleanliness is an issue. Staff more bar orientated, music loud at night but you only just hear it in the rooms. Close to riverfront.

Stayed here 2 nights: dorm room w/aircon. I chose this place because of the reviews thinking it would be a good place. When I arrived they gave me a dorm room without asking for my name or passport or anything. I paid extra for a a/c room and when i asked to turn it on at 2pm they were pretty rude and told me they only turn it on at night. One girl in our room didn't have a pillow or blanket in her locker and she told the staff that this and they just acted like she was lying and gave it to her 30 mins later.
The room was on the second floor and it had a balcony which was nice but the door to the room was made of opeque glass so the hall light always shown thru. Next, the door to the room was never locked And housekeeping always came in like every hour. No privacy what so ever and they start cleaning the rooms at 730 am. So if you're a late sleeper don't count on staying in bed late. Other times the staff would just walk right into the room look around and walk out, no knocking or anything. All in all this place has so much potential I bet it started off great but now it's waning, I just wish the local and foreign staff would be more professional.
