“excellent show”
Reviewed March 12, 2013

Well worth the $10 and a good cause to support too. Beautiful and authentic costumes, dance, music and singing. Only annoying aspect was the number of tourists holing up intrusive ipads to film the show! Remember to put your electronic equipment down and just enjoy the show!

“Local history through dance”
Reviewed March 10, 2013

Eexcellent group of dancers! They preform in a small open theater in the grounds of the Archaeological Museum (another must!!!). We took many videos during the program. If you want to see them ask because I don't know if they perform throughout the year. Also try to be in Phnom Penh during the water festival. We were there but they canceeled it due to the death of Sihanouk

“Pleasantly spent evening”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

I attended two performances - Passage of Life and Children of Bassac. I enjoyed Children of Bassac more but both performances are worthy visit. Very well prepared and performed. The whole team was very nice and helpful. If you are interested in you can find a lot of information about Cambodian history, culture and habits.

“Interesting and cultural”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

I have enjoyed the three performances, and liked them very much, especially the Khmer Opera (the passage of life was the one I liked less). It's great to have the possibility to see the efforts they put in preserving the Cambodian arts and culture.
The only thing I did not like is that I found the price quite high, so it is obviously only accesible by tourists and a very few Cambodians.

“Well worth it”
Reviewed February 22, 2013 via mobile

There are three performances played here on different nights of the week. I went to see the one called Passage of Life which included scenes of a Cambodian birth ceremony, wedding ceremony etc. The show lasted an hour and was well done. All the speaking is in Cambodia, but English subtitles are on a screen behind making it easy to follow. It is outside and there were quite a few mosquitos so bug spray is an advantage.
