This is the best place to stay for backpackers looking to make friends and be right in the middle of the best scenes of Phnom Penh! It's safe and secure, but also an opportunity to make plenty of new friends with people all over the world! There are all different room styles depending on your preference, from dorm to shared to single, and all for incredibly cheap prices!! The people who run this place are locals who all speak amazing english and are incredibly friendly, honest and helpful! The rooftop bar is also the most chilled, relaxing place to hang out and have a beer or shoot some pool! Would definitely recommend this place!!! love it!

Ive stayed at happy 11 four times and each time was blown away with how great the place was! The staff are so great. Helpfull, fun, happy and set a amazing vibe! The food is amazing and has the best pizza ever! The location is central to several markets the riverside, many bars and resturants. All within walking distance no more then 5mins. You have a broad selection of rooms and the price is fair! The roof top bar is so chill with hammocks, pool table, movie area, and decked out bar. Cheap beer cant complain. I met the 5 people ive now been travelling together with 7 weeks now here! Would reccomend people wanting to have a fun social time or people wanting keep to themselves. The place is massive so plenty of space! Enjoy!

Room Tip: Dorms are cheap but if you share with mates then its also just as cheap!

I stumbled there for the opening of the rooftop bar - free beers, couldn't hurt. I moved in a few days later and stayed for two weeks, and do not regret any of it ! Great staff, rooms, food and nights.
Go.

From what I can see I dont think that everyone gets the idea of backpackers hostels... If you are looking for quiet place backpackers hostels are not the best choice for you. They are always full of young people who are looking for fun and party. Thats how these hostels should look. Im really satisfied of this place. I got private room with double bed, desk, chair and fan (no a/c in this room) for 7$/day. Its really nice- clean sheet, pilow, coverlet and towel. What do you need more if you stay here for few days? Of course I heard music from rooftop bar (my room is on 2nd floor) but it didnt disturb me at all. In restaurant you have a choice of many dishes, either western food, vietnames and khmers. The rooftopbar is really nice- during the day its very good place to chill out and sunbathe, and at night to meet people, drink and have fun. I think thats it :).

The only thing this place has going for it is the roof top bar, which is great apart from the wifi that nearly never works, you have to go downstairs to the lobby. Rooms are as basic as I've seen in all of Asia, some of them have no windows and are very dull and cell like. They also have no hot water. We stayed in room 207 and you could here the music loud and clear from the bar 2 floors up! we asked to be moved down to the first floor and in fairness the staff were very nice and moved us to room 105 without a fuss but we could still here the music from there but not as bad. All in all its not the worst place I've stayed but for $11 a night you can find way better accommodation.
