This place is not near the hustle and bustle of the riverfront where the night life is. A trip to the riverfront or back from this hotel by tuk tuk is about USD2.50 to USD3. Walking to the central market or the Russian market takes about half an hour. Not to worry though, tuk tuk are plentiful around here.
The room we were given, a superior double room, had no view but it was clean and quiet, just what we wanted. The bathroom had a tub to relax in and was warmly lit. The street it is at is not exactly glamorous and hip, but it will do. I look forward to coming back here as I paid less than USD40 for a spacious room with a peace of mind.
