I had heard good things about the Do Forni. However was disappointed when I went there for a business dinner recently. The ambience is decent with seating well spaced allowing privacy. The food however did not live up to expectations: my seafood soup had too much tomato base, whilst the lobster ravioli was too heavy on the sauces and uneven in texture. Further, service was uneven; at times they tried too hard to the point of being obtrusive, at other times, they were no way to be seen. I'm a fan of Italian food but ave tasted much better cuisine elsewhere

The staff made an effort to remember our names ( they checked based on our room # ) which made the experience more personal. They were attentive without being over fussy ; ensuring our wine and water glasses were always re-filled. Professional team which is not a consistent experience in other restaurants in PP. A wide ranging menu which allows you to go for 4 courses, Italian style or a simple pizza. The ' home made ' pasta was very good; the ingredients tasted fresh and The complimentary glass of proseco was a nice touch.

A huge thank you to Flurin and his wonderful team, Votey, Romany, Eden, Srey Len, Virakyuth, Sopheak, and Nimol. Having stayed at the Sofitel for the last few days, we have eaten not once, not twice but three times at this fantastic restaurant. Each dish on the menu sounded so delicious, it was difficult to make a choice so we just had to keep going back to try them all! The food did not disappoint and is of an absolutely exceptional standard. However, this is topped only by the service given to us by the delightful staff. We were welcomed so warmly each time we returned and when we left tonight we felt as though we were leaving our new friends behind. We could not recommend Do Forni highly enough and will certainly be returning again next time we are in Phnom Penh. Thank you again, Flurin and team, for adding a bit of extra sparkle to our visit to Phnom Penh. We hope to see you again soon!

With a one year anniversary to celebrate, my wife and I both came to the same conclusion about where the best restaurant was for a "date night" in Phnom Penh. So we headed off to Do Forni after not being there for 6 months, and it didn't disappoint. The tuna tartare and wagyu beef were both excellent, and I was fortunate enough to get a mouthful of my wife's pistachio crusted rack of lamb, which left me with food envy. As we've found on each occasion we've been to Do Forni, the service was excellent, beginning with a complementary glass of sparkling on arrival. We were too full for a normal dessert, so the manager arranged for some small chocolates from the in-house chocolate shop, which topped off the night very nicely. All in all, a very nice experience.
