Have been here several times since it was opened more than 10 years ago and decided to bring two colleagues here for a relaxed dinner on the riverfront. The service was top notch, with very efficient, attentive, attractive staff. Beers were real cold and sitting inside off the street was lovely in the aircon. Ordered steaks and crusted salmon which were cooked perfectly. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Price was a little higher than you might normally pay in Phnom Penh but for the location and the quality it was well worth it.

This restaurant is near our hotel and always filled up with tourists. It has nice locaiton and outside seating and large menu. However we found the service quite indifferent and the food merely okay, not justifying prices that are about 10-20% higher than restaurants just down the street in either direction.

Hi,

The whole team and myself would like to thank you for your review!

Our apologies for the late response - please be assured that we have taken your comments seriously and that they have helped us grow.

We worked closely with our new Chef to bring up the overall quality of the products sourced and the dishes served.

While we may be slightly more expensive than our neighbors, this is due to our unwillingness to make concessions with quality of the food we serve.

Thank you once again and I hope we can welcome you back to our restaurant on one of your future trips to Cambodia!

Yes I know that riverside is a bit pricey area in Phnom Penh. But it doesn't mean I want to pay such a high price for terrible service.
Nobody clean our table. They play only Khmer load music which I don't mind to listen sometimes. But I'm sure if you do a place for westerners and keep a western price you also must to keep western service and play normal music.
Strongly not recommend.
Only one plus was free Wi Fi.

The Riverside Bistro looks promising, well decorated, well dressed waitress in a nice uniform but from our food experience that is as good as it gets. We ordered the house specialty pizza the Riverside Pizza. When it arrived it looked fairly pathetic with a small sprinkling of toppings, when we picked a slice up the base is so thin it just folded up and fell through my fingers, and its 12 bucks for this! Taste-wise it was very bland also. Added to this a draft beer is twice the price of other places nearby. This place certainly has potential but falls way short.

I got recommended by a cambodian friend, the location is good, and easy to find, it seems to be a luxurious restaurants and bar in cambodia but for me, it's just an average by the service and the food they serve, the tate of the food i ordered , which is pizza , was just edible, if u expect to get a real italian taste then please dont order it., the flour used for making pizza wasnt in good quality. it actually tastes a lot better at restaurants in Thailand., the drink was good though, the one with the mint mixed with coconut and some tropical fruits.
it's actually a bit pricey compare to the quality of food you get
however this place is good for chilling out nearby the river.
