A wonderful and charming hotel with enormous rooms, gorgeous food and delightful staff. Certainly helped to make our days in Phnom Penh a real treat! set breakfast menus give your a good idea however the breakfast combinations are endless.

Room Tip: It so much in the immediate area, but there is a tuk tuk stand right outside the hotel which leaves...

Upon arrival, the staff at check in were helpful pointing out the sights and offering different kinds of transport, without being pushy. We had a big room, very spacious, clean. Also a balcony, never used it, it was too hot and there were no chairs.
Bathroom was ok.

Room Tip: we were onthe top floor, facing the school and the Royal Palace. Good choice.

We really loved this place. We had rooms on the 4th floor, and although the elevator goes only to the 3rd floor, the large staircase is so beautiful that we did not mind the additional steps. The rooms are gorgeous and we had balconies where we could sit and have a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine before dinner (from the very reasonably priced in-room bar), while overlooking the city.
As others have said, the pool is very refreshing. Not too warm and not too cold that you want to get out after a few minutes. You could stay in for a long time without feeling cold at all.
Staff is very attentive and the manager (owner ?), a nice man from France, came personally to
have a very enjoyable chat with us.
Breakfast is just great. If you prefer the large buffet with tons of items, this is not the place for you. Instead, you order à la carte but can have as much of anything as you want. The juices are freshly squeezed, the fruit salad is excellent, the croissants are very good, and the coffee is the best we had in Asia (I loved their italian coffee !)
There are usually tuk tuks right in front of the hotel that will lead you anywhere for a few dollars.
We could not get a late check out, but the staff was very accommodating and we could spend the afternoon at the pool before leaving for the airport.
I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

Just amazing! Loved this little boutique hotel. Great location, wonderful staff and the rooms are stunning. We staying in an enormous junior suite - we could have held a dance in there. Comfortable beds, lovely furnishings, free soft drinks and wifi and delicious all day breakfast all provided. Great spa (book in advance as they only have two treatment rooms) but fantastic value - 90 minutes aromatherapy is $33!
Real home from home (it was the US Ambassador's House!)
Can't wait to return to this lovely place.

Room Tip: All the rooms are lovely!

What can i say, my girlfriend and I loved this place.

The location is very close to the center of Phnom Penh you can walk to the market and palace with ease. It is situated in a nice part of town and the hotel itself is beautiful.

Our room was gorgeous, big & spacious as well as nicely designed. They also have a small outdoor pool which feels like a little oasis amongst the hustle and bustle of the city. The spa was also very good and good value for money. What made the whole stay very memorable was the people. The staff were so polite and so charming and this is also a general reflection of Cambodian people. Our only regret was that we didn't stay long enough.

A beautiful hotel.
Perfect... Stunning rooms.
Very friendly staff.
Lovely breakfast... Tried every different thing on the menu...
Location great... Tuk tuk to anywhere..
Great little free range deli across the road.
Pool fantastic...
Where very spoilt by staff for our 38th wedding anniversary.
Thanks to everyone for a beautiful stay.

The killing fields is worth the visit.... Catch a tuk tuk from the hotel... The hotel staff can arrange a tuk tuk or taxi for you.

Room Tip: 5 star quality. Huge rooms very spacious.

Loved my stay at the White Mansion as the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. In short:

Pros:
Great location on st 240 which is an expats street and midway between the waterfront and Wat Lanka.
Great pool area with a pool that is just cold enough to cool you down.
Friendly staff willing to help you with whatever you want.

Cons:
Only one - the onsite cafe/restaurant is slightly over priced in comparison to what else is available in the immediate area

That said, I would definitely stay here again and intend to when I return to the Penh
