“Lovely place to relax and rewind”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 12, 2013

We picked this place as we're travelling with our young children (4 and 6 yrs) - from previous experience, a haven away from the bustle of an Asian city is a must.

We booked late and so took a Junior Suite to which they added an extra single bed (the day bed was made up as the final bed). The girls loved having their own beds insteading of having to share and were presented with their own teddie bears to keep when we checked in which was a cute touch.

The design of White Masion is beautiful, with lovely high ceilings and all very chic. The pool is compact but pleasant and we took tea out there while the kids splashed about for an hour. The restaurant is great - fab pastries and a few other breakfast options - we also had dinner one night when we'd had enough of the city, which was also good.

The staff were helpful and considerate - we stored some of our purchases with them once we headed off to the coast and picked up when we returned, all with no bother.

My only cons would be the shower in both rooms we stayed in had to be handheld - the wall mounting didn't allow for the direction to be adjusted and faced directly out over our heads. And no net curtains / blinds meant that when we opened our curtains we can face to face with the neighbours - and on our last night the room we were in caught the afternoon sun and so we either had to suffer with sun in our eyes or close the curtains entirely. Small things but at this price it' the small things that really count.

This being our first time as a family in PP I have nothing to compare, but for us four it was a great choice. They are no doubt cheaper places out there, but it was a nice treat.

All staff and amenities are simply great! This hotel must be your choice if stopping in Phnom Penh, subtle, elegant, stylish....Go on treat yourself, I promise you, you will not regret it.

We had read all the reviews prior to staying here and after staying here, have to say it lives up to the hype. We were greeted on arrival with a delicious towel and cold drink during our smooth check-in process. We had a junior-suite and it was a huge room. High ceilings with beautiful crown moldings. The bathroom was adequate and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was always smiling and ready to assist in anything we needed. They booked us a car and driver for the days as well as set up our bus transportation to Saigon. The breakfast at the attached Le Cafe was good and recommend the Asian breakfast selection. Overall it was a great boutique hotel in an up-and-coming city.

White Mansion is a bit pricier than most expect in Cambodia, but for an oasis in the countless little boutique accommodation this was perfect. The best possible mix of amazing service and attentive staff with giving you space to enjoy your time there and your privacy.
Every request was catered to promptly, The manager/boss lady was fantastic, hilarious and extremely helpful.
My room was on the bottom floor beside reception but was extremely quiet, something i haven't experienced anywhere else. arrival snacks, cookies before bedtime and lovly bathroom products gives it the edge that you are paying for. The pool and loungers help to!

Breakfast was delish, and wi fi was the best i've had in Cambodia. One other thing the beds were so comfortable, after sleeping on hard mattresses everywhere it was delightful and unexpected to have a foamtop.

splurge, spend the extra, it will make your time in PP so much better!

Room Tip: all seem great, once you hit that bed...nothing is going to matter. One thing, be prepared for your...

This hotel is as stylish as shown in the pictures on their website and I loved it! Location is good, although crossing roads to get to the restaurants takes a bit of getting used to. Staff are young, very helpful and service is attentive but felt sorry for the guy whose job it was to spend all day opening the door :) Restaurant not cheap, but food is a of a high standard. We had the best croissants here EVER! Outside space is small but attractive - plenty of places to chill and pool is welcome. We travelled with our daughter (aged 8) who was made to feel welcome, but suspect she enjoyed our stay at the Kabiki more due to their larger pool and garden. Happy to recommend.

Situated on the best little road in town - walking distance from the royal palace and waterfront, this new design hotel is welcoming and friendly. The rooms are spacious and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The hostess did her absolute best to guide us to the best restaurants and other amenities. The only downside is the hard beds (seems to be standard in Cambodia) and the lack of soundproofing. We were treated to a wake up call from the next room's occupant who spent an hour throwing up rather unpleasantly in the adjacent bathroom :(. The spa is OK but not great. Still, highly recommend this place for location, rooms and service.
