“4-day / 3-night trip in Chi Phat”
Reviewed December 31, 2011

I recommend a visit to Chi Phat to anyone who wants is interested in seeing a real rural village in southern Cambodia.

I took the 4-day / 3-night trek joining six other tourists The first and last nights were at a home stay with a family in their stilt house.

One the second day, we hiked out into the forest where we slept in hammocks under a thatched roof hut in the forest. We hiked back the next day.

All meals were taken care of for us and were both tasty and nutritious. Our guide and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

There are many other options available at Chi Phat, including longer treks, mountain bike tours, or just staying in the village.

This is the part of Cambodian village life that many people would like to see but don't know how.

All local arrangements are provided by CBET (Community-Based Eco Tourism), which helps to bring support to the villagers without exploiting them.

“The Best Experience in Cambodia”
Reviewed October 21, 2011

We went on a 3 day tour from Phnom Pehn to Siem Reap via Battambang. This tour was amazing and I would thoroughly recommend it to all. We had a private car with a guide and driver and the two of us. They could not have looked after us any better and we all had a lot of fun. The accommodation provided was above our expectations, they provided cold water throughout the day and the restaurants were great.
I will be recommending this tour group to all of our friends.
We were very sad when our tour ended and wished we had booked more days.
The booking process was very easy and the team were very helpful.
The Bamboo Train was a definate highlight!!!!!
