We went to Phnom Tameo animal rescue centre with Betelnut tours. For a backpacker budget we thought $40 was a big price to pay but we were so wrong - great value for money.
We travelled out in a pretty awesome jeep to the park and had a guide with us at all times. The tour wasn't rushed at any time like many are in this part of the world. So you get plenty of time to stop at ask questions about the animals and the park.
Even the lunch we had was great - catered for vegetarians too.
It was one of the best days we had in six weeks in Asia so far. If you are looking for a reprieve from animal cruelty you see frequently out here this is a real gem.
