We spent our first night here when we arrived in Phnom Penh and would have stayed here again if it weren't booked out when we returned. The staff are lovely and very accommodating. The hotel has a lovely dinning area near the pool and although we only got to have breakky there loved the setting. Buffet breakfast was not huge but adequate. We thought the price was reasonable for Phnom Penh and the location is great, within walking distance to River front, Palace, Museum. Pay a little extra and get a bigger room. Beds quite comfortable, which is a bonus in Asia. Great view from the rooftop spa.

Having never been to Phnom Penh before, this hotel came a pleasant surprise! A lovely room with all mod cons, a touch on the small side but well laid out. Great bathroom! However, don't look for a view as a new building is going up right next door! The morning breakfast was most enjoyable but having to ask for coffee and ordering the hot food (bacon, omelette etc) a bit confusing at first. Sharing an early morning meal with a friend next to the pool was most pleasant.
The only real down side was the fact that we couldn't get twin beds despite asking for them when arranging a booking through Agoda.
Nevertheless, a great local. Walking distance to Riverside, the Royal Palace and Silver Street.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool side room if you want a view.

If this is one step up from a backpacker hostel, backpackers must be living in style. My compliments to the designer and owner of this hotel for making the most of the space available. Having the dining room around the small pool is unique and innovative. The whole space is quite beautiful. The roof top jacuzzi with spectacular views of the city is refreshing after a hot day of touring. The room I had was tastefully decorated and had more than enough space. The bathroom area was clean and functional. And I felt quite safe because of the hotel security system. I can tell that the owner values the customers' safety and security.

My compliments to the food and beverage department. Breakfast was quite satisfying and the dinner I had was delicious. And the service was outstanding, from the servers, chefs, and bartenders. All of them where friendly and courteous.

My compliments goes to the entire housekeeping and front desk staff. The whole hotel was clean. My room was properly serviced everyday. And no request was left unheeded, no question left unanswered.

And of course, location! I was at the centre of Phnom Penh. Most of the major sights are within walking distance and those that are not are just a 3 dollar tuktuk ride away. All this, at a very reasonable price! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone's stay in Phnom Penh.

Room Tip: My room 207 was great but I bet the 7th floor suite would have great views!

Basic services were ok, functional and kept up-to-speed. Staff well trained with customer satisfaction and safety clearly showing as genuine concerns. The slightly complex key system worked a charm, I don't understand the fuzz about it. Noisy, with loud music coming from the neighbourhood most of the nights. This hotel, apart from the top-floor suite and the 7th floor deck, has no views worthy of that term. 'Pool rooms' require stepping across the corridor and leaning over the railing to see the pool several floors below. This hotel has no space for a functional pool but has built one anyway, in a very tasteful and stylish manner. Parts of the building cannot be reached directly by elevator. Breakfast choices a bit limited but of good quality, apart from the home-made yoghurt. This glorified backpackers place is a bit out of place with its 10$ per night neighbours. Outside the hotel, expect the disrespectful and condescending treatment by roadside traders typical of backpackers areas.
