Owner description: The Flicks Community Movie Theaters are the most unique locations in Phnom Penh where you can enjoy the blockbusters, documentaries and the classics on a big wide screen, in "uber-comfy" air conditioned movie rooms, from before there were big cineplexes. The Big Flicks 1 on Street 95 is the legendary little movie theater from the time there was no other big screen in town, located in an original wooden Cambodian house and features an all air conditioned bar and a leafy outside terrace. Its movie room seats 32 people. The Flicks 2 is its little brother in the city center and also screens the must-see movie for all visitors, The Killing Fields, daily in its 16 seats movie room, located on the 2nd floor of a backpackers hotel. Enjoy your movies for only $3.50 per day, with a drink, snacks and homemade fresh popcorn available at the bars! Welcome home!

You pay for the air conditioning not the movie, your ticket is good for every movie shown that day. What better value for your dollar than this place it has a bar and also you can get food. But there are seats if you want to but the best is the full lying pillows on the floor to lay back and enjoy in comfort great way to spend and afternoon and evening.

Where would you find a movie place that you can buy cocktails, beers and burgers, T-shirts, art work? THE FLICKS!
And the coolest place to gather a group of friends to watch sometimes the most far out movies, sometimes classic and sometimes just the new releases.
Something for every folks. Don't miss it!

The screen was large there were big cushions to lie on which was great. Food was available if needed. The room was well air conditioned, the sound was good. There were a nice number of people. It was great value and we will go again.

Take your pick lounge on the comfy padded mats or sit on a couch. The popcorn is homemade and scrummy. Great value and highly recommend.

Thanks to The Flicks, I have seen some of the best movies of my life in the last year and a half. Its a genuine big-screen experience, because, in proportion to the room's size, the screen is really large, and the color comes to life. I remember Amrith Talkies in Mangalore, India. It was a 70 mm theater, and I saw Mackenna's Gold and The Sound of Music in that theater. Seeing "Django Unchained" at the Flicks did not seem as if it was much less exciting. Kudos to them for having such good taste in movies.
