“Delightful Morning Cruise”
Reviewed December 28, 2012

For $15/per, our party of 6 had the entire boat for a 1 hour+ cruise. A relaxing and, thankfully, breezy journey along the Tonle Sap and Mekong. Coffee, tea, croissants, watermelon and a very gracious host in Captain Kim. Tuk tuk pickup at your hotel included. A great way to start out your day in Phnom Penh.

“Sunset cruise very comfortable”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

The Butterfly is a pleasant, small (max 16 persons) way to cruise from Phnom Penh. A sunset cruise is a relaxing hour or so. But, check on price as one agent advertised this for US$25 pax. So when I contacted directly and was given US$15 pax including hotel pickup and first beer I thought it was a great deal. But others on board who made way to wharf (Tuk Tuk $2-$4) paidUS$5 pax. Beers on board $3 a bit steep but a worthwhile thing to do.

“Weather makes it hard to review”
Reviewed October 3, 2012

We had booked a sunset cruise, we were picked up from our accommodation on time, unfortunately the weather shortened our cruise to just half an hour that of course is no ones fault (and glad that they considered safety first - so a big tick for that), the staff were friendly and the service was good but no sites were pointed out or explained, also we would have appreciated if they had offered for us to come back the next day to have a full length cruise as ours was shortened. Mixed feelings about this company and whether I would use them again, probably would just to see if ours was one of those unlucky experiences.

“Expensive! Do not bother with the morning tour.”
Reviewed August 29, 2012 via mobile

I'll start with the good:
- friendly tour guide
- silk tour was interesting
- informative

And now the bad:
- expensive
- not what we expected
- The $35 per person didn't even come with a bottle of water...
- much better deals on other boats
- do not go during the day, sunset might be better...
- advertised that it comes with light lunch but we received nothing.

Feels like we were completely ripped off!!!

“Relaxing trip”
Reviewed August 27, 2012

While a cruise on the Butterfly is a relaxing experience, my party felt that it would have been that little bit better had the English proficiency of the guide accompanying us been better.

No complaints about her enthusiasm but there were many sights where we had to ask and had so-so answers due to the language barrier. Plus point was the helpful boat captain.

Unfortunately it drizzled so we didn't get to see a sunset but the cruise was really relaxing.
