“Very nice dining experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 29, 2012

We enjoyed our dinner at Sugar Palm, one of the best during our 2 week trip through Cambodia and Vietnam. Very nice service and everyone of our 4 dishes were delicious. Authentic and good value. Ate upstairs on the terrace.

“Very disappointed”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 27, 2012

I had visited this restaurant on a previous trip to Phnom Penh and was very happy with my meal. Unfortunately, this time, I was very disappointed. We were a group of 9 people and, to be honest, most of the food was overcooked and overly sweet.

I would like to hope it was just an "off" night, but if this had been my first visit, Sugar Palm would have been struck from my list.

“Highly Recommended”

This is a lovely, cozy place to enjoy Cambodian food. We ate here twice and both times the food was fresh and extremely tasty....
We would definitely eat here again :)

“Local to White Mansion”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 14, 2012

We were sent here for lunch on arrival as our rooms weren't ready. It was excellent. We had some very tasty dishes and went back two days later for lunch! We tried different dishes which were also v tasty. It is walking distance of the Royal Palace.

“Fine Cozy restaurant in Phnom Penh”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

Convenient location and friendly staff. There is a wine shop next to it so we bought 2 bottles for dinner and the restaurant charged US$5 per bottle for corkage. Food portion was larger than other restaurants in cambodia and all tasted fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the Fish Amok, Morning Glory and Eggplant.
