“Decent place”

The restaurant has a good selection of tasty food, the service is good and there is a pleasant atmosphere. The clientele is solely young tourists and the price level is high compared to what you get.

“Once was enough”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2013

The Boat Noodle's menu included a mixture of Khmer and Thai food. The BBQ cart in the front certainly provided an alluring aroma of sizzling meats which created an expectation of something tasty.

Alas, the disappointment, food was rather ordinary, service was bad and unfriendly. The BBQ chicken wings weren't too bad but we have had better. Food seemed a little over priced for what was presented to the diner.

This restaurant is the exception to the rule, I usually assume if an eating place is full of locals the food is generally good and reasonably priced, not with the Noodle Boat.

“Great, cheap food”

A decent mix of Thai and Khmer dishes at very affordable prices. The service is lacking but it's worth a visit for the food alone.

“Authentic set up , Authentic food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

A beautiful set up in a wooden house, full with trees.....
coupled with the authentic local food. Services a abit slow though but does not affect the quality of the food.

Price is affordable, portion is generous

Amok is a must try !

“nice atmoshphere, service improvable”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 3, 2013

I've been there on a Sunday for lunch. I liked the atmosphere a lot. up in the trees, all wood, old furniture inside...the fish amok i ordered was tasty and warm. it also smelled very good from our neighbour's table:-) but i agree that service is not very friendly and they don't smile. but they didn't try to cheat on us. Careful with the iced tea...it smelled like tabed water and that is not something you wanna drink! i didn't regret going there but would not recommend it for Friday/ Saturday night's out as there are some better restaurants you should try.
