Stayed here for 2 nights. Breakfast was provided at the rooftop restaurant where you can have a good view of the city. The lobby is a bit hot when we arrived as I think air con was not switched on. The room deco is a bit old, maybe there's room for improvement here. Bed and bathroom is clean.

I stayed in this hotel for 6 days, 3 by myself & I felt very safe & secure as a woman alone. The staff were very friendly, helpful & spoke good English. After 5 days the air conditioner broke down & I was immediately put into another room on the 9th floor. The TV really needs to be updated. It's a bit annoying that you have to reset the wifi every time you come back into the hotel. The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels. There were some really great tuk tuk drivers & it only cost $3 to go into the city.

We stayed at Salita for 3 nights. Alright location - not much right around the hotel, but there's always a tuk tuk waiting outside, only 2 bucks to the riverside. Breakfast was ok, pretty standard breakfast buffet for this price range. But they did make us fresh omelettes when we asked which was great! A big or two in the room, but otherwise big and clean. Front desk was helpful in arranging our Vietnam visas and bus to Saigon.

Great hotel. paid only 30 USD per night, and rooms are very large, very clean and nice viet over the whole city. The best part is surely the room- great bathroom also. Beds very comfortable.
What a great surprise in Phnom Penh, definitley recomendable! I will sure be back

Upon our arrival, we were upgraded to a VIP suite on the 9th floor- which was quite a pleasant surprise! The room was spacious, clean and modern. Staff were helpful in helping us arrange taxis, tuk-tuks and massages. The in-room massage, albeit reasonably priced, was disappointing, and not recommended. The only improvement would be for the complementary breakfast; the selection of food was limited, and not very good. It was made up by the beautiful rooftop view of the city. The hotel is close to the Orussey market and S-21 prison, otherwise it is quite far from the other main sights (approx $3 tuk-tuk ride to the royal palace, etc).

Salita Hotel is a reasonably new hotel in the city. It is one of the taller buildings in the area (for now) so there are great views from the dining room on the top floor. The hotel appears to be Chinese-owned or run, so there are groups of Chinese tourists. Location-wise, it is fairly accessible by foot (assuming you can/want to walk in Cambodian traffic). My room was clean, but internet coverage is a bit spotty, depending on where your room is.
