“Just like coming home everyday”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 2, 2012

We stayed at Eureka Villas for 3 weeks as a large group doing volunteer teaching. We were in and out all day but it was so nice to come back to the hotel throughout the day, enjoy a cold soft drink at the bar (or maybe something harder in the evenings;) ) have a chat to Nak and Vaan about our day, have a swim in the pool and return to the very cool air-conditioned hotel room to get ready to head out to the dump areas again. It was exactly what we had envisaged for our group. Somewhere to relax, and eat if we couldn't be bothered going to a restaurant outside the hotel, somewhere to gather and chat with our group at the end of the day, somewhere with helpful staff and providers of good advice.
The breakfast was great; quick and easy. The pool was just the right size, the staff were so helpful with organising tours on the river at night and helping us get our airport transfers. We could not have been better looked after.
The cleaning ladies would make our rooms up in the morning and we had paper necklaces as gifts from the children we were teaching, the cleaners would hang them up for us to make the room look nice. We also had some photos developed while we were there and the lady stood them up on the bedside table which was so cute.
We had laundry done every day which was handy too.
We would walk to 240 street every day for lunch and to the river too at night as it was a really nice walk and not too far.
We will be returning to Cambodia in 2013 and will be booking again with Eureka Villas as it was just like coming home every day :)

Room Tip: Yes it can be noisy at night but where in Phnom Penh is it completely quiet? If you are a light slee...

Only place I will stay in Phnom Penh. Paul has created a oasis in the middle of PP. He has trained his staff to know what we want and need. Every need and want that I required was catered for without hesitation. The staff are very friendly and always happy. They genuinely enjoy working there and love looking after the guests. Cant say enough of Eureka Villas.

We sprung for the pool view king-sized bed with a terrace - terrace is about as big as the room with couches and easy chairs...staff couldn't be more helpful and the owner (Aussie firefighter working to help local firefighters) was charming. Everything you expect in a 4-star hotel, at 2-star prices and a prime location. Lovely pool, huge room...just perfect.

I spent 4 nights at Eureka villas with 2 other friends and had one of the triple rooms which was spacious and immaculately clean. The location is fantastic and the staff were exceptional with nothing being too much trouble and all done with a smile. I would just like to add a special thank you to Mr Hen who organised some great accomodation in Siem Reap for us, along with lots of useful advice. My mate had his phone stolen on our 2nd night there, Mr Hen sorted out the police and even gave him the loan of a spare phone he had for the duration of our stay in Cambodia. Thank you.

I'm a little bemused by the "average/poor" reviews, "the pool is small" etc - go to a bigger hotel!
I'm trying really hard to find something negative to say but I can't.

Well done Eureka villas and thanks again.

They are so kind and attentive to detail, make you feel like you're coming home each day. Rooms are very clean and service is exceptional. We enjoy this hotel so much! This is the third time we've stayed and we'll be staying again in 2013.

Room Tip: I enjoyed being on the first floor right next to the pool so I could jump in right before bed. I ne...

Unfortunately we had only a short stay here. We were very happy with the room, hot water, shower etc, safe, tea and coffee facilities, fridge. Pool looked like a nice feature but it rained so we didn't use it. Due to the death of the king the end of the road nead the hotel was blocked so our transfer didn't work for which reception was apologetic. Dinner was good and well priced, similarly breakfast was good. Chivorn had preorganised bus tickets for us for which we were grateful. Free wifi. Location near palace normally woukd be ideal but for us a nightmare with traffic jams
