Visited the Warung Bali yesterday with a group of 4 people. The place is small and very basic, so don't expect anything fancy. Service was quick and correct, and the food itself was really, really good, and amazingly cheap. We ordered 3 meat dishes and 2 veggie dishes, and 2 portions of rice to go along with it. The Bali chicken was nice (sweet and a bit spicy), and the gado gado was a good veggie dish on the side. The beef rendang was really good too, but my favorites were the chicken in butter sauce and the fried eggplant in kecap. These 5 dishes + rice were just enough to feed the 4 of us, since portions are on the small side - portions could be a bit bigger in my opinion. Then again, we ended up only paying 4 USD per person (drinks included!), so I'm not complaining because you still get great value for money!

Overall an authentic place with great cheap food, ideal for small groups who like to order different things to share with the entire table. Also good to know: they do take away and also deliver. Will definitely be back here!

I've been a frequent visitor in Phnom Penh Cambodia for the past 6 years, mostly for long stay.
When the home sick strikes, Warung Bali is the answer.
Located just right in front of National Museum Phnom Penh (Street #178), near by the Royal Palace, Warung Bali offers wide variety of Indonesian foods, served with sincere smile and hospitality, by Kang Firdaus and Kang Kasmin (both are the owners).
We can have most of Indonesian favorite dishes such as sop buntut, sate ayam, gado gado and rendang, also tempe, ikan asin, and sambal terasi. All are served as authentic as the origin.
Warung Bali is such an oasis for Indonesians away from home.
Enjoying the foods while having a chit chat and jokes with those humble owners will kick the homesick out.
One more important: all the foods are HALAL.

I have lived in Bali so I was delighted to stumble upon this small halal cafe just off the riverside and near many nice shops. The food was simple but tasty and pan-Indonesian not just Balinese. The owners were friendly and the service efficient. You pay a bit more than the standard fried rice and noodle joints but it is worth it.

A small cozy place with friendly people serving, who are helpful in enticing you on what best to order that day. Some excellent suggestions: ayam kecap, squid dishes, and spicy garlicky sambal (chilli paste). As a rice afficionado, the rice was cooked to lovely perfection. Great value for money. Would definitely return..

Its very near to National Museum and the price was really affordable. There were 6 of us and we had rice and dishes like Lock Lack, Ayam Bali, Kang Kung, Telor Dadar with drinks and it only cost us USD18!!! Totally worth it! The owners were friendly and helpful and even though the place is small and has minimal decor, I think the price and taste brings people back again and again.
