Stayed in the Plantation for the first time in May of this year. Been to PP many times over the years but just wanted something more relaxed.
Staff were great, polite and professional, hotel was secure (I especially liked the closed gates and security guard at night).
Breakfast at the pool was good and a glass of wine in the evening at the pool again was a nice way of finishing off the day.
Didn't get a chance to use the spa unfortunately and wish I'd fed the fish in the pond at the front (they follow you around), next time maybe.
Would highly recommend.

Room Tip: Go for what you can afford.

Stayed here last year, finally writing a review because it was so great. Stayed here for 3 nights and didn't want to leave! Great hotel, in a great position, walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. Beautiful pool area for relaxing after a hot walk around the city. Friendly staff.

Our family visited Phnom Penh for the first time last week, and had the pleasure of staying at The Planation. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. We stayed in the amazing Suite which was beautiful. The staff at The Plantation were brilliant and met our every need. They were very polite and very attentive.

During the days we did a lot of charity work in the villages and to come back to The Plantation at the end of an exhausting day for a swim in the sparkling pool was great.

We will definitely be back again. Thanks to everyone at The Plantation for making our stay so perfect!

Room Tip: As a family of 4 the Suite on the top level was perfect.

Dear Sara R,

We are all so delighted to receive such positive feedback and to learn how much you and your family enjoyed your stay at The Plantation's Suite. The pool is using a magnesium mineral - chlorine free pool water system, so that makes sparkling clear water with refreshing feel especially during this hot season.

Your lovely comments made our day. We love to hear that you will return to Phnom Penh ,we look forward to seeing you and your family again hopefully in the not too distance future.

Stayed for few days. Great location about ten minutes walk from the river. Great staff, very contemporary design rooms, light airy, comfortable. Simple but satisfying breakfast poolside. A bargain at the price. They are in the process of extending the hotel and adding another 70 rooms. Would I stay there again. Absolutely!

Room Tip: Pool view deluxe - worth the extra couple of bucks

Dear OnandelBangkok,

Thank you for your generous review. It always makes us so happy when our guests leave feeling good about their hotel experience.

The extension works will not start until late October this year. At the moment we are remodeling our Redpool area, at the corner - front part of the hotel.

You are absolutely right about the best room category would be the deluxe room with pool view. Bangkok is less than an hour flight, so please visit us often.

We arrived in Phnom Penh at the end of May (low season) and were booked in at the Blue Lime (sister hotel), however we complained about the level of noise from the construction site next door at 7.30pm. We proposed to relocate to the Plantation and management agreed. They even picked up the additional cost. It was the best that could have happened. The staff were courteous and facilities were excellent.
The buffet breakfast was truly amazing. I decided not to have a massage at the Spa as I found the price a little too high even with a 20% discount. The cocktails and the pool area were exceptional with private cabana adjacent to the pool area making it feel like a upmarket resort in the heart of Phnom Penh. Would highly recommend Plantation and would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the poolside are best; our room faced an open car park (west) on the second level; we d...

Dear Peter V,

Thank you for sharing about your experience following your stay at The Plantation and leaving a positive note to our sister hotel the Blue Lime. I am pleased to learn that you like our breakfast very much and that you had a great stay at The Plantation.

Just a small note on the spa prices; I think there is a miscalculation somewhere, as we offer for example Cambodian dry massage is only US$ 12 for 1 hour, very much in line and even in the lower side as compare to many spas prices in the area.

Hope to see you again at The Plantation.

Best Regards

This is a lovely hotel near the Royal Palace. I stayed here for 7 nights with a break in between outside of the city for a business trip. Reasonably priced with nice rooms and facilities. Breakfast buffet included is really good and the main restaurant has excellent food. The pool is really nice as is the spa. Gym equipment needs to be updated. Service is really attentive - not entirely polished, but staff is helpful and accommodating. The one complaint I had is that if your fellow guests are loud and you are a light sleeper, you can certainly here noise in the hallways and from your neighbors. For the first four nights we were there, I had a room in the middle of the hallway surrounded by noisy guests. Mind you this is not a business hotel, so you should expect tourists coming in late any day of the week. So my first few nights were sleepless and I had early starts every day. When we returned I was put in a room with less foot traffic and slept much better. I go to Phnom Penh a couple of times a year, and I'd certainly try staying at the Plantation again.

Room Tip: 2114 and 4014 both nice rooms -- 4014 was a bit noisy when I stayed but could have been the surround...

The hotel was great, it really is like an oasis in the middle of the bustling city. It is not a 5 star hotel mind you, but you are not paying 5 star prices. For Cambodia, and for the price I was very happy. What really sealed the deal was the free buffet breakfast, which was amazing. I dont know what they put in their bread, but i coudnt get enough of it. The buffet has a huge selection from hot foods, to cereal, fruit, or custom omelets. I would stay here again anytime i visit Phnom Penh.

Room Tip: I got upgraded to a room overlooking the pool, which was awesome; great view.
