Beautifully apppointed hotel, 1930's facade with very modern facilities. Gorgeous salt water pool to relax by after the hustle & bustle of PP. Staff were extremely efficient & so pleasant in dealing with any request. The rooms are modern and airy, the whole place is a delight, the food's really top notch as well should you want to eat in. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: We were lucky enough to be upgraded to delux double a pool view but I think any room here would be g...

From the outside you think this hotel isn't very big, until you walk through the reception! Then you see an Olympic size infinity swimming pool, surrounded by gardens and day bed, perfect for relaxing in after a hard day of sight seeing. The staff were very professional and sorted out our taxis, tuk tuk, dinner reservations without a hitch.
The room was basic but very comfortable, clean and tidy. Overall THE place to stay in town all this for around $100. Bargain!

Plantation is at the higher end of prices, but some seriously good deals are there to be had to make it easily affordable not just for a more upmarket stay, but also a special treat at the beginning or end of holidays at least as a contrast to some of the pace and bustle of life outside.

You are greeted with cold refreshing face towels, and a chilled drink as you check in, so its a thoughtful and restful lace to be. I've now stayed 3 times and rooms can be found at 30 quid a night, which isn't bad for luxury accommodation between two!

It is exceptionally clean and crisp inside, boasting lovely water features, and a large restful pool which is a huge asset. Staff are universally polite, interested and unerringly helpful. Marked down the spa, despite its discount as a resident simply as I didn't use it, though facilities looked as clean high quality as the rest of hotel.

I particularly loved the rooms, which are modern, clean spacious, with rest beds, as well as double beds with nets, fans and a quiet a.c unit so are well designed for rest inside or on the individual terraces attached to many of them.

Beds were large, with excellent mattresses, showers are in nicely designed wet room style, and were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was extensive and varied, and is taken beside the pool offering a lovely view of the well designed facilities. Bar snacks and evening food is also available, and again was extremely nice, though a little pricey.

it's a shame that the pool and pool bar closes at ten...but it's no hindrance , as a nice private terrace with a similar view is the alternative for a nightcap.

I was ally very impressed with all elements of the hotel, and would definitely book it again as part of the range of experiences of a holiday while in the country. In fact it was s lovely that my son who lives in phnohm penh checked in for a few days for his own city break, and is now tending to be a regular spa/pool visitor.

Toroughly recommended, and not necessarily as pricey as you'd think!

Room Tip: I'd go for a room on the ground floor...easy access to pool bay of your own and a small terrace...

This lovely little hotel is in a great location in Phnom Penh. On a nice side street centrally located, once you walk through the entrance you'll see a lovely courtyard with a water garden and interesting wall art. There is a little gift shop there but it's a bit pricey. The hotel pool is beautiful and the rooms are amazing; large clean and modern. Buffet breakfast is excellent. However, you do need to make sure that the room you booked is what you are getting because the hotel staff did try and switch to a smaller room on one occasion.

A lovely hotel, being an oasis off the busy streets.
A quick check in with nice rooms overlooking the delightful pool area. The staff were particularly helpful and friendly and breakfast was good, located by the pool.
It was lovely to come back in the afternoon and relax in and by the pool.
Transport was quick, cheap and safe by the ever present Tuk Tuks and there was lots of nice places to visit to eat and drink locally.
Would strongly recommend.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pool are the nicest

My friend had highly recommended The Plantation and staying there was the best decision of my entire Cambodian trip. The hotel is a 5-10min walk from the Palace and near to many eateries.

Decor is great and we received a warm welcome from the staff there who spoke excellent English, with a delicious welcome drink that was badly needed. Our room was upgraded to one with a pool view. All facilities were excellent, not only do you have an aircon but there is also a hanging fan for those who feel really really warm. The four poster bed was extremely comfortable. The pool is not big but it is easily one of the most picturesque and irresistable pools I've seen.

Foodwise - the varieties were not bad, it was cheap and culinary skills exceeds my expectations. I love their soups and cannot get enough of their cheap-and-good alcoholic drinks.

Service - Felt like a King. Nuff said.

Room Tip: Get a balcony room with a pool view.
