“A really cool place to stay”
Reviewed August 22, 2013

A special place to end up after a day out and a wonderful environment to hang out around the pool... a true oasis and a great place to stay.

Can not fault anything with this place, the services was friendly and attentive, rooms spacious and clean.. breakfast had great variety

Location is good, a few minutes walk to Street 240 and some great ice cream and coffee places nearby...

Room Tip: Rooms with balcony and pool view are fabulous

Delightful and pristine hotel and spa right in the city centre within walking distance of all the major sites. Staff are very attentive and eager to assist wherever possible. Really an oasis of calm. Already planning our next trip back.

The hotel is a real gem in the middle of the city. Few blocks from the royal palace and all other attractions, few blocks from the river with all the bars. Once you are inside is like forgetting the chaos of Phnom Penh, all is quite, a lot of palms, water, a gorgeous pool where you can relax for hours. All the architecture was really nice, and reminds a lot of colonial times. The roof bar is just beautiful, the service is impeccable. And the rooms are really nice, with a comfortable bed, the nice curtains around it, the other bench for relaxation and the beautiful private mini-terrace. The breakfast, food and drinks were also great. I could not try the main restaurant, but looked really nice as well. For a stay in Phnom Penh, I think it would be hard to find something better. I strongly recommend to stay there to everyone.

We only stayed in Phnom Penh for one night, but booking at this hotel was a great move!
Everybody was very professional from the moment we arrived and we felt very welcome. The front desk staff member that checked us in was very helpful.
The rooms are lovely. Ours was spacious and had a mosquito net on the four poster bed and the usual 4 star treats like a welcome fruit basket. The only negative was that the fruit basket brought ants to the room. But a quick call to reception and the problem was fixed straight away.
Breakfast was delicious and available from 6.30-10.30. There was a nice selection of pastries, breads, fresh fruit, salad ingredients and hot foods. The breakfast area also looks onto the beautiful main pool in the hotel.
The pool was beautiful with 6 private covered areas that had their own private steps leading into the pool. The covered areas included beds and pillows for lounging and fans. Just perfect. The pool itself was lovely and clean and ideal after walking the heat of the day.
We had a late flight out of Phnom Penh, but we were able to organise a late check out of 1pm at no extra charge and we were also encouraged to use the pool after check out. (we used the gyms showers after using the pool. )
Again all staff we encountered were really great and helpful. A memorable hotel. I only wish we had found it sooner!

This beautiful little boutique hotel was a great way to start our Cambodia trip and was much nicer than anticipated. The staff were super friendly the rooms were impeccably clean. The hotel deserves extra points for style since the whole place was very well designed and decorated.

The food and drinks around the pool were good (if pricey by local standards) and the wifi worked reasonably well.

When I forgot my shaving kit, they forwarded it to our next hotel at essentially no charge (which was great because it had several irreplaceable items like keys and medicine in it!).

Overall a tremendous value for the money and very chic little resort.

We stayed at the plantation for four nights. The place is definitely a pleasant surprise as we were first timers visiting Cambodia, and off course didn't know what to expect. Do not be put off by the side street entrance, as soon as you make way into the hotel you'll discover what a little gem this place is. The hotel has a lovely setting, a small pool and pool bar at the entrance, a restaurant on top and the lobby follows, and as you make your way through you'll find the main pool were breakfast is served. We enjoyed the little covered decks by the pool were we would enjoy cocktails and a swim. The food quality at the hotel is good. The staff mean well though some of them do struggle with English at times. The breakfast service is good but can also be a bit slow. We were slightly disappointed with the room at first which seemed different than what pictures showed when we booked, but we didn't mention anything. We loved the soaps! Visiting the killing fields or s21 the staff will advice you how much you should pay for the tuk tuk not to be overcharged. Overall we did enjoy our stay here and would definitely recommend it to others.

We didn't stay here, but went as a day visitor to lounge round their pool one day. Pool use is $5, which is redeemable against a drink, so basically the pool is free. Most other hotels accepting day visitors to their pools charge $5-8.
Drinks are not overpriced - coke $1.80, beer from $2, bottle of decent sav blanc in an ice bucket $22. The food was very good too and no more expensive than the riverside places. Best of all we had the pool to ourselves as the main pool for hotel guests only is elsewhere in the complex.
A nice place, completely hidden by its roadfront concrete wall.
