Nice hotel, good location (very near to shops, restaurants, major attractions), good size room and bathroom, however the bed (which was comfortable) sits on a stone platform some 30/35 cms above the floor. The easiest way into the bed is from the end rather than from the sides. At night, when sleeping if you need to go to the bathroom, you better remember that you are not at floor level and must be careful not to trip and fall because of the 2 level set up. The night tables, lamps and fan control are not within reach once you are in bed. You need to get out of bed to turn them on/off. The bedroom set up is good example of "design and originality" prevailing over comfort and practicality.
The hotel provided a complementary small plate with fruit which was replenished daily.
Good selection of international channel and good WiFI connection in the room. There is a goo size safe and big flat screen TV in room too
Breakfast buffet was good with Western and Asian choices.
The staff in the hotel was a mixed bag. some attentive and helpful, others showing straight faces not even offering a greeting or a smile.
Overall a good hotel, however because of the two levels bedroom set up I am not sure I would stay there again,

pp is a pretty intense place, and staying at the plantation can help your psyche handle that, with it's lovely pool area and relaxing, tastefully appointed rooms. we had a nice, 2-night stay at the end of june. i would certainly stay here again.
i do agree with other reviewers, though, that more vegetarian fare on their menu would have been nice.

We had a really nice stay here (husband and 2 kids). Adi, the GM and his staff are very friendly and helpful from the front desk to the cleaning people and the boys in front getting us tuk tuks.

We loved how uncluttered and streamline the rooms are.

The pool area and cabanas were a favorite place for us after being out and about in the heat.

The hotel is centrally located to the Natl museum and palace and walkable to the river side area.

We would definitely stay here again.

Charming, beautiful, gorgeous and fantastic for the price that we paid...!!! It is truly a luxury in a budget. The staff more than helpful, rooms clean and spacious, service quick. And the best part is that it is centrally located in the city. Although it would have been nicer if they had some more vegetarian options in their restaurant menu and the chef a little more trained. There were just 2 vegetarians options and even one of them wasn't available. A simple thing as a spaghetti was undercooked and tasteless..so the restaurant was a disappointment for us.
But would love to come back again and recommend it to friends.

Dear Guest, Sorry about the failure of the restaurant. We are currently without a chef and the new one should start mid-July... Cheers, Alexis

Just stayed at this exceptional hotel. IT is full of charm, beautiful and the staff are amazing. It is in an excellent location very close to The Palace. This is fantastic value for money and has more charm than a large luxury hotel. Highly Recommend!

The property, the staff, the location were all perfect! The gorgeous pool and surrounding salas are gorgeous and the food and beverages were fantastic and priced really well. We actually chose to relax in the hotel more than planned given it was just so nice to be in. The spa prices were even cheaper than some surrounding places!
We only booked a standard room and even that was huge! I've already recommended it to numerous friends and would definitely stay again!!

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view room!!

Felt like we had stepped in to an inner city oasis. The pool area was beautiful with comfortable loungers and salas to keep you from sizzling in the incredibly hot Cambodian sun. The hotel has a very peaceful relaxed vibe, with helpful service and polite and smiley staff.
Free wifi, nice bar snacks, good cocktails. Breakfast was fairly limited but nice enough.

Room Tip: We chose a deluxe double - well laid out, light and airy feel.
