Description: FCC Phnom Penh Restaurant and Bar - Casual open-air dining on the MekongWith a passion for fusion cuisine, FCC group chef has created the FCC menu, introducing generous flourishes of traditional Khmer flavors spiked with funky French influences. While the menu is still built on FCC main-stays such as beer-battered fish and chips, deli-fresh sandwhiches, and wood-fired pizzas, the heart of the menu remains a finely crafted blend of Asian, Mediterranean and Western-influenced flavours. The BarThe "F", as those know to frequent the big horseshoe bar call it, has served stiff drinks, camaraderie and comfort to a storied cast of journalists and diplomats, movie stars and intrepid travellers since 1993.Back then, when The "F" first opened its doors, the bar gave shelter from the gritty and tense streets of the capital, where an uneasy peace was just taking hold. Writers and their sources traded secrets in the shadows. Diplomats drank their per diems, swapped social strategies and spilled their martinis.Today, the bar still serves a stiff extra-dry, and the journos still pass through on the great hunt. The tension is gone. But there's still plenty of action, and the liquor, on occasion, still gets spilled.Open Daily 7:00 a.m. - MidnightHappy Hour 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

“Go foer the ber and the view But Expensive watch out for sales tax 10% extra”
Reviewed November 23, 2013

Nice building good ambience though not as old as you might think it is has a sort of colonial 30s feel but is definately not that old. The views out over the river are good but a lot of bars on the quay have the self same view so you aint missing much. Go for a beer or happy hour the food looked expensive to me and for some reason they quote their prices with out 10% sales tax so you feel extra stung when the bill comes. So go have a look a beer and move on

Great view of the river and promenade. Happy hour 5-7 pm. Feels very colonial and is definitely worth a visit for a drink and a relax watching the world go by

“Return to an old friend”
Reviewed November 18, 2013

The FCC is an old friend, having been the place to go to for ambience, breeze, views, in the 90s and 2000s. Still great place to hang out and see the riverfront, also check out view behind to the roof of the Museum, and the beautiful, decaying, French colonial house at the back. Food was good, great fish and chips, soft shell crab, and wonderful tempura prawn shots. The food is back on line to what it was. There are cheaper places but go for the beautiful building, ambience, and decent grub.

“great view, average food”
Reviewed November 15, 2013

we often take visitors to the FCC but rarely eat there. A cold beer is always nice at sunset if you can get a high stool overlooking the river. We recently gave the food another try but with disappointing results. We went for breakfast at around 10.00am. We got our menus quickly and ordered without too many problems. However, the first meal took half an hour to arrive. The next, which was actually wrong, came nearly 20 minutes later and one meal did not come at all. We cancelled this as our guests needed to get to the airport.

“Fun place to go and feel a part of history”
Reviewed November 14, 2013

Good menu selections at a reasonable price. Quite busy at night but were able to get a table on the open rooftop area. This gave us an excellent view of the roadway and the night life as well as a very welcome breeze.
