Description: FCC Phnom Penh Restaurant and Bar - Casual open-air dining on the MekongWith a passion for fusion cuisine, FCC group chef has created the FCC menu, introducing generous flourishes of traditional Khmer flavors spiked with funky French influences. While the menu is still built on FCC main-stays such as beer-battered fish and chips, deli-fresh sandwhiches, and wood-fired pizzas, the heart of the menu remains a finely crafted blend of Asian, Mediterranean and Western-influenced flavours. The BarThe "F", as those know to frequent the big horseshoe bar call it, has served stiff drinks, camaraderie and comfort to a storied cast of journalists and diplomats, movie stars and intrepid travellers since 1993.Back then, when The "F" first opened its doors, the bar gave shelter from the gritty and tense streets of the capital, where an uneasy peace was just taking hold. Writers and their sources traded secrets in the shadows. Diplomats drank their per diems, swapped social strategies and spilled their martinis.Today, the bar still serves a stiff extra-dry, and the journos still pass through on the great hunt. The tension is gone. But there's still plenty of action, and the liquor, on occasion, still gets spilled.Open Daily 7:00 a.m. - MidnightHappy Hour 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.

Yes it's touristy, yes there are many restaurants that serve better food and yes it is fairly expensive for Phnom Penh but it is still pretty good, the food is still tasty and the drinks and cocktails are still served in a beautiful setting as the sun sets. Everyone has to go once if they're in town. Just make sure you get there early and grab the front row seats and watch the mad traffic flow by as the sun sets. I would recommend the green mango and soft shell crab salad to eat personally.

We had a very pleasant meal at the FCC. The view of the Mekong was superb and the pollution no too bad. We took advantage of the "happy hour" and enjoyed quite a few drink at half price..The place was totally full on the second floor so we went to the third floor and find a nice spot overlooking all the action in the street/river/pavement. Happy hour over, the FCC emptied quite a bit and we dined at a table. The food was nice and Khmer. We recommend this restaurant even if it can seem a little pricey

Recommended by others who said it was pretty good. Took a long walk and it was worth it. Had green curry with prawns and summer fruit lasse; colleague had FCC Club Sandwich. Finished off with excellent coffee. All in all, great tasting food, not cheap, but quality and quantity were well supplemented by the view and the ambience for a casual lunchtime chat. Will definitely go again.

with a wonderful view over the River in the heart of the cambodian capital Phnom Penh!
From the different Terraces you can enjoy the street life ... the perfect place for a sundowner or draft beer at the Happy Hour! Also a great & well decorated place for dinner!

I think it's past its buy by date. I was there about 5 years ago and I think they are just coasting on their reputation. Granted it's a great view and their happy hour is popular, but once you've sais that you've said it all.
