Description: Topaz is a sophisticated French cut above the rest with six upstairs private rooms, a unique walk-in wine cellar with floor-to-ceiling and exceptional vintages and a humidor stocked with the finest imported cigars. Elegance and creativity are perfect partners alongside unequalled service with an eye to mouthwatering presentation and a menu based on Gallic know-how. Topaz is the best, it feels like you could be in Rome or Paris. The food was perfect and the wine list was very well created.
The service was perfect and we really enjoyed our evening.

“Delightful and Delicious”
Reviewed July 7, 2014

This is a gem of a place for French/ European food.
Everything is done very well - the style, the décor, the table linen and cutlery. All first class.
Great choices on both the menu and the wine list,. Attentive and very efficient service
I had a beef carpaccio which was first class and then a crusted sea bass steak for mains; delicious. MY fellow diner and a steak which he said was tender, and well cooked.
Deserts we very tasty, well crafted and beautifully presented.
Pricey by Cambodian standards but its worth it - a splendid retsuarant.

“Paris in Phnom Penh”
Reviewed July 5, 2014

The dishes are French style, delicious and beautiful to look at as well. And the service is Cambodian style, gentle and gracious. Such a winning combination. Caution: the prices are western, so for us this was a special event place.

“Happy birthday!”
Reviewed July 3, 2014

After searching tripadvisor for a French restaurant, I finally decided to take the bf here for his birthday since he's never had real French food before (His idea was just baguettes and bonbons...eek).

We started with the grilled river lobster. I was skeptical because for the price I wasn’t expecting much, but it was highly praised so I decided to go with it. Thanks for not letting me down, guys =) THIS WAS DELISH. Perfectly cooked, scrumptious giant shrimp, and then THAT BUTTER SAUCE. YUM. Definitely underpriced!

I ordered the roasted scallops. It was very rich, and I enjoyed it. The seafood was perfectly cooked and the juice was tasty. The bf ordered the chicken leg, and he wiped his plate clean. Luckily I was able to sneak a bite. Super tender. Ummph.

We were stuffed at the end of our meal, so we didn't order any dessert. But the server brought out a cute little chocolate thing with the coffee.

Speaking of service, it was definitely on point. Water, wine and bread was constantly refilled if it ran low. Plates were swiftly cleared out of the way and the timing between courses was perfect.

Atmosphere is very cozy and romantic. I found prices for food and wine to be very affordable for what you get!

Thanks for making the birthday boy's dinner a special one Topaz!
