Description: Topaz is a sophisticated French cut above the rest with six upstairs private rooms, a unique walk-in wine cellar with floor-to-ceiling and exceptional vintages and a humidor stocked with the finest imported cigars. Elegance and creativity are perfect partners alongside unequalled service with an eye to mouthwatering presentation and a menu based on Gallic know-how. Widely considered to be the blue riband first choice of visitors and residents in the capital.

Been here twice this week : once a la carte diner and once business menu lunch. A truly fantastic restaurant. Incredible food and service. Couldn't recommend it enough. Perfect for both a special night or just a casual lunch. Would love to go again.

We have eaten at Topaz for lunch, but never dinner. We went to celebrate our son's birthday. We felt very welcomed and comfortable (VIP room).
Our waitress was more than accommodating and professional. Although it is gourmet food, it is not a stuffy or pretentious atmosphere.
The wine list is very nice, almost too hard to choose.
Okay for the food. Bread and butter, fantastic. Now... the food was flavorful but there were some slight misses. The foie gras soup was delicious, but really too hot. The lobster course was very flavorful, with many ingredients and flavor bursts, but the lobster itself was slightly chewy. My steak was simply perfect, and their house made sorbets are fantastic.
The food was good, in some cases really good, but certainly not the best I have ever had. The evening, however, was a top 10.

I would recommend it for an event dinner more than an unbelievable gourmet experience.

Firstly, This is a top notch restaurant with spectacular food, service and an impressive wine list. We wanted fine dining and that is what we got. Why is it rated so low in TripAdvisor? it should definitely be in the top 3!

The dining room is elegant and not overstated, with the feel of the city around it. The restaurant filled up as we ate but the service continued to be excellent - prompt, knowledgeable, sensitive. All of our choices on the lunch menu were very good - ingredients beautifully prepared and presented. The meat elements to the main courses were perfectly cooked. While none of the courses was large (thankfully), there is plenty to eat for those who equate value with quantity.
We actually left quite full, and very satisfied!

Went for business lunch. The food was incredible and the service was excellent. Bathroom was real nice too! Only negative is parking was full of Lexus so I had to park 50 meters before.
