“Outstanding meal. High price for Cambodia, but worth it.”
Reviewed January 18, 2014

My wife and I had a delightful dinner here. We shared a red snapper ceviche that was nothing short of awesome. They included a small pumpkin gazpacho that was devine. My wife had pork chops - there were two pork chops. One was excellent and the other had two much fat. I had sea bass with chorizo. My main course was fantastic. The staff was highly trained and the service was attentive. Prices were high. The setting was quite nice. A great place for a fine meal. Reservations accepted and were needed on the night we were there.

“Tamarind Margaritas and beautiful food!”
Reviewed January 17, 2014 via mobile

We went to Tepui at Chinese House last night. We had happy hour cocktails with free tapas- very nice. The tamarind margaritas were delicious. Drinks range between $2.50 for beer and $5 for cocktails. There is a wine list with a range of prices.
We shared more tapas when we went upstairs - beautiful scallops- and had pork and steak for our mains. Topped it all off with a Key Lime and Pie vodka Martini for dessert. We were impressed by the quality of the food.
Our evening cost well under $100 and we had quite a few drinks.
The only disappointment of the evening was that the tablecloth in the restaurant was really marked and not very clean. For the price of the meals, I would have expected more.

“Good food in a nice setting”
Reviewed January 9, 2014

We went at happy hour and were at first disappointed to see the drinks weren't actually cheaper! However the deal is free tapas with every round and the food was good, so we had a few rounds. Unfortunately you can't choose which tapas get, perhaps a way to encourage you to stay!

After we ate upstairs in the restaurant, we shared 4 appetisers but after the tapas 3 would been fine! They provide free still water which was a definite plus. Food was good and nicely presented.

Bill cost $60 for 4 cocktails, 2 glasses wine, 4 appetisers and one scoop icecream. Was our most expensive meal in Cambodia but we had a lot and it was very relaxing so worth it!

“Wonderful building, excellent dining experience”
Reviewed January 2, 2014 via mobile

The Chinese House within which the restaurant operates is a treasure - a truly beautiful building inside and, which has been very well restored. Check out the ornate window frame in the dining room.
The beautiful surroundings set the tone for a cosy and romantic meal, although the music was just a little too intrusive during our meal.
The menu is a wonderful mix with a predominant spanish-south american flavour. The head chef knows what she is doing as the flavours in all dishes we tried were excellent. I only wish I could go back and try the paella negra as it sounds mouth-watering - and all the other dishes for that matter.
There is a good selection of wines with a fine rioja of note.
Staff were attentive and service was of a very good standard.
Overall an excellent dining experience.

“Greatness as all fronts”

The perfect hidden gem with well manicured plates of niceness.
Great wines, beautiful setting and the meals feels really well prepared.
Try to keep some space for dessert.,,
