Description: La Croisette is one of the first restaurants in Phnom Penh, opened right after the last fractional fighting in the capital in 1997. La Croisette is renown for its international hospitality and wide range of patrons: it is a Phnom Penh favorite to Asians, Europeans, expatriates and both international and Cambodian residents alike. The large outdoor terrace right along the bustling riverside promenade together with its cool interior space make it a must-see in the Cambodian capital. From a fine continental breakfast to international and local cuisine and outstanding cocktails in a classy Cambodian environment - La Croisette is a Cambodian experience not to be missed.

“A nice Swiss restaurant”
Reviewed July 24, 2014

The prices are more than reasonable (compared to the quality of the food) and the portions are generous. A menu with variety, a good selection of wines, and a relaxed atmosphere - the ideal place for a lunch or dinner on the riverside strip.

service: i have experienced much better in PP. it was a surprise the waitress could not provide information about the menu.
cocktail: good, the + of the evening
decor: what you would have found in NY ten years ago, nice though
food: that's what i come for. the green salad/ mozzarella/ prosciutto was nice, the calamari was fine but nothing special, the fish+seafood risotto was a disaster. It was tasteless, and to achieve that says a lot about the attention given to the cooking. This classic italian dish is not complicated to cook.
What was surprising was to see the owner walk in and out of the restaurant, but never stopping by to check on guests except a couple who seemed to be usual customers or friends.
very disappointing.

I've been to this restaurant a few times because someone we eat with likes it for some reason. I have to remember to avoid it next time rather than turn up and have to choose from a limited menu with rather small portions, some of which are expensive. There is very little in the way of children's meals at a reasonable price. Vegetarian options are limited. However, the atmosphere is nice and the service and quality of food is very good. With the huge number of restaurants to choose from in Phnom Penh, there are many that are better value with just as many good qualities.

“Great breakfast”
Reviewed June 8, 2014

I really enjoyed the breakfasts here. Ate here many times during my stay in Phnom Penh. I especially enjoyed the breakfast of fresh fruit with granola and yogurt, so refreshing and cool for the mornings in Phnom Penh. The service was just a little slow, but not too bad. The staff was friendly and the location is very good as it is located right on the riverfront and close to every thing.

“Lovely dinner on the riverside”
Reviewed May 22, 2014 via mobile

So we went to have drinks and dinner, each had a cocktail with yummy yam crisps which were served with the cocktails, for dinner we had spaghetti carbonara and pork cordon bleu , freshly made generous portions and the sides of Italian style spinach was really yum and authentic with pine nuts ! Compliments to the chef who was Cambodian!
