Description: The RIVERSIDE BISTRO provides a comfortable dining atmosphere along the River at a central location for lovely service at value prices. Sit outdoors with the cooling misters and watch the day go by, or sit in air-conditioned comfort indoors with a cold drink and listen to pleasant music. Enjoy quality cuisine on the Riverside and sample our tasty desserts, freshly baked cakes and excellent coffees!

Just arrived in Phnom Penh and were struggling with the heat. We needed a Frappuccino quick and the Lavazza sign pulled us in. Coffee was good, staff was friendly and the food was good too. Except the price is too high. Bolongese pasta costed 7 us, while next door it was 4.5 and looked similar.

The food was terrible and the price was very high considering surrounding restaurants ! Staff are very friendly and helpful.
I won't eat here again !

I have dined in this establishment previouslyand while never a wonderful venue it was air conditioned and nicely located on the Riverside in PhnomPen. This time it was a disaster.
From the start we had to move tables, wait for drinks a very long time and even though we ordered our meal when we entered(Second Selection) it really tried our paitence in the time it took. In the end a seafood platter for two came out. Other meals still had not arrived but we rebelled before anything else could be brought out. The seafood platter was not even enough for a mouse so we offered to just pay for our drinks and leave. This suggestion caused a major ruckus until the manager was called and he reluctantly agreed we had a case.
We did get an apology which was something I suppose.

Pros: Good Location, well trained staff who dont mess up your order, nice eating area outside.

Cons: Every dish costs more than most of the restaurants along the riverside, forget it if compare with other restaurants in other areas in phnom penh. I would not mind the price much if the food is great but it's not. No reason to spend that much on this place, walk a bit farther then u will find many good choices in cheaper price. Its not worth it.
