“Mixed of Cambdoian & French food”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

This family run business had become i believe an essential place in Phnom Penh. The places is very well design the food is great, i really enjoy their mini spring rolls and most of the food on the menu. Don't try the paella it is the only think i didn't like it.

“Excellent high level Khmer food”
Reviewed March 15, 2012

The food is delicious, the service perfect, the prices reasonable, even for the wine.
I would recommend to improve the kitchen ventilation system, because the smell enters in the restaurant.
But it is a detail compared to the quality of the food.

“Excellent”
Reviewed November 19, 2011

I cannot understand how this restaurant isn't more highly rated. We stayed at the hotel and had breakfast here two days and dinner one night. The French bread is crispy and wonderful. Everything we ordered off the menu was great. The pain au chocolate was excellent and we're still talking about it three weeks later. So were the desserts. We noticed a very strong expat crowd here but not many tourists.

This was a disappointment: ordinary food, poor service, and an expensive bill. Not worth it at present

“Le Safran: Wonderful food in this new Phnom Penh restaurant”
Reviewed September 14, 2009

Le Safran opened within the last year and adds to the large selection of good Phnom Penh restaurants. It has a modern indoor decor as well as outdoor seating. The menu has both Khmer and French selections. We ate there several times and always found whatever we ordered to be delicious. Among the dishes we ate several times were: Fish Amok, Noodles with Chicken and the Pork in Mustard Sauce. We were very pleased with everything. We felt the Fish Amok was among the best we had eaten. That is saying a lot for Cambodia's national dish served at every Khmer restaurant but maybe we are not the best judges.
