We were picked up from our hotel on time to go to the killing fields and a ride on the ATVs around the villages. We first went to the killing fields which was sobering and very sad. We were able to take as long as we liked there which was very considerate of them.

Our tour leader was James and he was a terrific guy who spoke great English and was very chatty and friendly. Actually all the staff were wonderful and very friendly. We had 3 staff for the 3 of us on our tour.

. I have never been on a quad bike before but it was very simple. We we rode around on dirt tracks through small villages. The highlights for me were the beautiful little kids running out and giving us huge smiles and waving. Some even wanted to high five us. The kids ranged from about 2 years and up. It was absolutely memorable.

We rode around for about 1 1/2 hour, stopping from time to time to take photos and to talk able the temples.

My top experience for Phnom Penh.

We were picked up at our hotel right on time by Dat, a friendly tuk tuk driver. At the Blazing Trails office we were greeted by an equally friendly man named James. He was our tour guide. James was very informative, spoke English very well, and accommodating to our needs. The quad bikes were fun, and easy to use. We enjoyed stopping at the villages and saying hello to all the smiling children. It was good to be out of the city amongst the villages. Be prepared to get a bit dirty as we did get spattered with plenty of mud... But good clean fun...
After the ride around country, we were delivered to the Killing Fields site for a good sobering up. The self guided audio headset tour was truly excellent. The clear explanations and interviews provided as almost as much insight as if we had a eye witness tour guide. It's the best organized historical site we have visited in Cambodia. If only other pleases such as the S-21 prison followed suit.
We would definitely recommend this tour and visit to the killing fields.

This quad biking tour is a great way to travel through the villages on the outskirts of Phnom Penh.
The staff are very helpful and friendly with a wealth of local knowledge. No need to worry if you have not riden a quad bike before they will teach you in minutes. I highly recommend that you take the time to go for a ride.

We had an awesome time touring through a few villages. Heaps of kids come out of their small houses to say hi. Tip for others: ask your guide to help you buy some small packets of chips/crisps to hand out to the children, alternatively, take some coloured pencils - they love both. We a bag of 20 packets of chips cost about US$2-3. We went through about 100 individual packets. The kids loved it!

On the weekend, i took the all day adventure tour for the third time. We were two families of 4 (4 x adults, 3 x teenagers and one child) and everybody immensely enjoyed the tour.
This time I was able to be a pillion passenger which afforded me the opportunity to get some photos of all the amazing scenery and also the lovely Cambodian people.
As i've said in my previous two reviews - everybody should do this tour.
James - thank you for your expertise in guiding our tour. Pasqual and Aka - cheers again guys and keep up the great work.
