A Lost Plate Food Tour is a must for any PP first timers. The tour provides a road map to eating safely and enjoyably in PP. Our party of four joined three others and Lea, our host, took us to six locations (four restaurants, a dessert stall and a bar) via Tuk Tuk over 3 hours or so. The tour provided a variety of food types and ambiences, from street style to mainstream - and Lea provided some historical context along the way as well!

Thank you for the review! Absolutely do food tours everywhere you go, and on your first night if possible so you can build a palette-map of the cuisine and get all the best local recommendations. Also, drinking beer in a tuk tuk is definitely the local way to do it! We hope you enjoyed your time here, and that we'll be sharing a table with you again soon!

Our guide Lea was friendly and kept us engaged, and the variety of food was great! We definitely would not have felt comfortable finding these restaurants ourselves so it was a great intro to eating in PP! We were lucky enough to have a total group of 8 (two smaller groups and an individual) who all got along well, which definitely helped too.

Cambodian cuisine's variety is so easy to overlook, we're glad you noticed that on our menu. When designing these experiences, it's always a tricky balance between showing off heritage and how much space your stomach has :) I'm glad you enjoyed your group, we like to keep it between 2-10 so it's always a bit fun to meet others and share a beer or six with other adventurous eaters!

This food tour was so much fun for our group of six who only had 48 hours in Phnom Penh, a wonderful city! It ended up being only us in the group so it was like a private tour. We went to very local places that we would have NEVER known about on our own, and everything was delicious. Our guide Lea was very knowledgeable, spoke fluent English and candidly answered all of our questions. The night ended at a cool bar for cocktails. So fun to travel by tuk tuk and afterwards they brought us wherever we wanted to go. Don't miss this tour! Thank you Lea and team!

Thanks for your review! I'm glad we were able to deliver a delicious experience, and hopefully give you some insights into what it was like to watch Cambodia enter the 21st century with our local guide. Lea is from a rice-farming village up north but has been here for many years now making quite the name for herself. Reviews like this remind us why we love what we do, thanks so much for spending a few of your very limited hours in Phnom Penh with us.

I had a great time with Tee. She had great knowledge about the city and the history of the Khmer cuisine. We tried a variety of food in small and some larger restaurants. Everything was delicious. Drinks at all stops and even an alcoholic beverage at the end at the roof top bar. One of the few tours where you actually get full!

It's our personal philosophy that tours should always leave you full, preferably before the last stop. In our team group chat, it's always a point of pride when guests are already full but keep eating anyway because the food is too gorgeous to deny! All our guides aren't just professionally trained, but also really fun people with unique histories and perspectives. Whenever I follow along a tour with them I learn something new (even though I've run 100s of the tours here!) and love how they each interpret our tour story. Thank you for your review!

We did the evening tour with Lea and it was fantastic! The food at each spot was delicious and very unique. There really wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Lea did an exceptional job giving us the history and background of not only the food but also Cambodia in general. The unlimited beer was a great plus too!

Unlimited food and unlimited beer always makes for a memorable night! I think that's the part that grabs guests at first, but I love how our guides manage to sneak in hours of history to accompany all these local delights. History lessons are always best over 9-course dinners.
