Being in Phanom Penh is always fun as you remind your sweet old time in Bangkok. I had a nice Cambodian cuisine lunch today with my colleagues (Thai and Cambodian cuisines are so sisterhood with a bit milder and sweeter in Cambodian's).
At Malis Restaurant, I was absolutely enjoyed the so fresh raw beef and crispy vegetable salad, the pretty oriental taste chicken vegetable hot soup, Grilled natural breed beef steak with basil sauce, very fresh and fresh fried local green veggies, and the yummy local fried rice.
Each dish is simple but charming in its basic cooking style and freshness. Not too oily and not too spicy. All be excellent paired with the fresh Coconut juice.
The atmosphere is so relax that you forget the 35 degree Celsius-outdoor!
This place is one of 'a must' when you visit Phanom Penh also.
