Description: The Shop 240 is located on tree-lined Street 240 near the Royal Palace, it was our first outlet when we started in 2001 and it remains hugely popular. This colonial-era house has a peaceful patio out front, a wood-floored dining area inside, and a leafy eating area out back. Ceiling fans keep things cool, and a fresh supply of free newspapers in this oasis keeps our customers up to date with world events as they enjoy our Mediterranean-inspired menu. We have other The Shop locations on Street 102 and Street 337 in Toul Kork as well as The Chocolate Shop locations on Street 240 and Street 63.

This little place was just round the corner from our hotel on the famous busy 240 street.
They serve beautiful sandwiches and wraps and their salads are so tasty.
It's a great place to have a light lunch and chill out for an hour or so.
It can get really busy, but the staff are quick and efficient.

Try their chicken and bacon sandwich! Their coffee tastes great - and their Wifi connection here is good!

After hearing about The Shop through one of Luke Nguyen's Greater Mekong shows, we couldn't wait to visit and try some of the chocolates, especially the Kampot Pepper. It certainly lived up to expectations. We enjoyed chocolates with unique flavours, kaffir lime was a hit, as was the Kampot pepper. The drinks were refreshing, but it was the chocolate which drew us in. The rest of the menu looks interesting. Will we be back? Yes, tomorrow for morning tea!

Ok, that may not sound that exciting when you are sitting at home on your couch, but spend enough time in Phnom Penh and it starts to sound really amazing. They also have great and some delicious looking desserts. Definitely one of my favorite Phnom Penh lunch places.

Great place to grab breakfast in the city. I had the pumpkin bread with quark cheese (they make it fresh right in the shop), apple and pear. The slices were thick cut and warmed nicely.

My friend swears by the sweet potato, salmon and dill frittata and I know that will be what I order next!

It gets really busy on weekends but a few doors down is a place called Chocolate, and it is owned by the same people. Last time I was there we sat there and they served us breakfast from the other menu!

Great place to check out!
