Description: Open Monday to Sunday from 11am to 11pm (kitchen closes 10pm) Romdeng is set in a beautiful colonial building whose wooden carvings, tables, chairs and unique lights were all hand made in Cambodia. The silk goods and cushions adorning Romdeng were made by our students in sewing training at Mith Samlanh and its walls are hung with beautiful paintings produced by young people from the art classes there. All of this plus a pool, free WIFI, a family area and a gift shop mean a visit to Romdeng is a must.

Went here with a group of friends to try some great local cuisine and loved it. A little disappointed they'd run out of tarantulas though. Don't worry they have plenty of non-bug food on the menu.

The Fish Amok and Beef Lok Lak were both fantastic.

Thank Steven M

Came across this restaurant while searching for places to eat spiders, aside fom the novelty factor this restaurant employees at risk young adults to give them working skills.

Settingwise it good, the tarantulas tasted better than expected with the bonus of playing with a live one. We had to mains, braised pork which was superb plus the ant and beef stir fry, which was okay. Dessert was conic nut ice cream and banana crepes, great. Starr's and desserts were 4-5US and mains around $7.5 US. Portions were very filling.

Meals came out very quickly and service was very attentive. We did not have a booking and were seated straight away at 6pm but on leaving the restaurant looked very full so booking recommended for later diners

After taking a long trip to the killing field, we had lunch beside the swimming pool in a beautiful restaurant (Romdeng). We were a group of three people and we ordered the local food. The food was great, service was good and i was so satisfied with the prices. we have plan to go there again after finishing our state exam!

We came here for a set lunch with a group. The food was delicious and the staff very helpful. Lovely table in a beautiful garden with even a swimming pool. The staff took all the time to show us around en even showed the spiders that you can eat there. Small shop upstairs that sells souvenirs. The restaurant supports young people to get a training in restaurants

The restaurant itself is beautiful and lends itself well to al fresco dining. The food was great; healthy, light and full of flavour. Would definitely recommend. If you like it there, then definitely visit Friends (also in Phom Penh for a creative menu tapas style).
