“Fine for a short stay”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2013

We had a good sized room and bathroom, the bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean. Our room was overlooking the street and we felt it could be noisy but it was fine although the traffic started from about 6am. We had a walk-in shower and no bath but that was fine by us, the water pressure was low but there was always hot water whenever we took a shower. There was wi-fi in our room and they had a locker system for safekeeping. Not much choice at breakfast, we went at 9 one morning and there were only eggs and toast left!, There is no restaurant in the hotel just a breakfast room, not really worth bothering with.

Really good value and good clean rooms. Location a bit out of the way. Hard to get good English speaking dup or tuk tuk outside. Breakfast extra and not so good. If on a super strict budget a good choice. Have stayed there for over 10 nights

My wife and I spent two nights here on an Intrepid Tour a couple months ago. The hotel was average! The staff were very friendly and wanting to help. It seemed clean and secure. There were lockers to use if you wanted to secure other valuables. Also, there were a couple computer terminals to use to check the internet. The location seemed very good to tour any location and was only a $2-4 USD Tuk Tuk ride to most attractions. There was a very nice Tuk Tuk driver always out front (Ne Ha?). I'd recommend him! The air conditioning worked well. The bathroom was small though. The breakfast was average but the restaurant on the top floor had a nice view of Phnom Penh. If you're more than 5 ft tall, watch for the ceiling mounted tv on the top floor. I banged my head on it when I momentarily looked away and it wasn't pretty!

The staff are friendly, the location is quite good near the corner of Sihanouk and Monivong which is good for a landmark but it's still surprisingly quiet at night! I probably wouldn't bother with the breakfast, there are better spots close by for the same price, also don't get the hotel to do your washing it's expensive and there's a cheap place just down the road. All in all clean and comfortable with air con and lock boxes downstairs as well as free wifi throughout the hotel. Definitely good value for money, i paid the same for a place that was more central but 1/2 as good on a previous trip...

the rooms were ok; comfortable with air-con, but the hotel is on a busy street so is noisy and we thought the breakfast was rubbish; the location is ok, close to the museums and restaurant area on the river, a short tuk tuk ride away

I stayed here for 2 nights as part of an Intrepid tour. It was fine for a short stay if you're just looking for somewhere to sleep and get clean, but I wouldn't have wanted to stay longer.

On the first night, we were put in a room on floor 3 that had a view of the roof and an old water tank right near the window and the air con didn't work. The next day they moved us to a room on floor 5, which had working air con and a nicer view.

The hotel restaurant is on the top floor with a nice view of Phnom Penh. Breakfast was fairly good.

The bathrooms are very small, and as the shower isn't contained, it is pretty much a wet room.

Not a bad place. It was clean and I slept well.

Rooms seem to vary a bit here so look at it first. We changed from our first one when we didn't like the view. The best part is the view from the 8th floor. Take your camera and get almost 360deg. shots. Tuk-tuks are always around and the front desk is helpful. Breakfast buffet is ok, also.
