“Simply delicious”
Reviewed April 25, 2013

Full of expats and tourists so the sewrvice was quite slow, but the food was delicious, as is the cause. Maybe you should book before going, but supporting the great work is certainly worth the wait.

“Great restaurant and fantastic cause”
Reviewed April 24, 2013

Great location - within easy walking distance of the Royal Palace etc., so makes an ideal stop off for lunch or dinner. The setting is relaxed and the dining casual. The menu is mainly tapas style, but there are very good Cambodian twists on the menu as well. Three dishes were more than enough of us for a lunchtime stop - if in doubt just ask them is they think you're ordered enough or too much.

Really nicely presented food, with a taste to match. Not too expensive either and the profits all go into a well run NGO. So everyone is a winner.

We just managed to get a table for lunch, so would expect that booking is essential for dinner. Highly recommended..

“Feel good food”
Reviewed April 24, 2013 via mobile

I'm so glad we got to visit friends on our trip. When we first walked by it was closed for Khmer new year and renovations. But luckily it reopened on our second last day.
I had an amazing banana leaf fish dish and ravioli. Most delicious meal in Phnom Penh possibly all of Cambodia!
Visit the friends n stuff shop also. I got a great recipe book and a necklace there. Money goes to a great cause!

“Great lunch spot”
Reviewed April 24, 2013

Friends is perfect for a light lunch. Tapas style meals which are tasty and well presented by the trainee staff. It also got quite busy which meant service was a bit slow. Not sure the serving sizes would be adequate for a hearty evening meal, but for lunch spot on.

You are unlikely to leave here disappointed. The food is great, the menu is varied and the charity do a great job. Enjoy.
